School Uniform Long Sleeve No Iron Pinpoint Shirt

Sub-par quality!
My 10-year old son needed a long sleeved white shirt to wear for his orchestra performance. I ordered this because it is 100% cotton, hoping it would be heftier than the 60/40 'oxford' shirt on this site. Unfortunately, it is quite the opposite. The fabric is so thin, that while ironing it I could see the pattern on my ironing board cover as clearly as if I was ironing a sheer curtain. Without a t-shirt underneath, you can see 'everything.' Very disappointing. To make matters worse, the 'no-iron' feature makes it impossible to create a crisp, smooth look. Sure, it doesn't have any large wrinkles when taken right out of the dryer, but there is a subtle puckered texture to the shirt that does not come out with ironing. What happened to the good old heavy, 100% cotton dress shirts and oxfords???

Great fabric! Well worth the price!
My son has always worn these shirts for his dress uniform at school, and they're the best! The fabric is a high-quality pinpoint cotton that breathes and keeps him cool all day, even in the hot Texas sun. And I love that I never have to iron them. He has short-sleeve, and I've purchased long-sleeve white and French blue for the fall/winter. They look great and last until he's outgrown them, but I'm always able to pass them along to someone else's son, because they wear so well.

Our son wears the shirts to school everyday. They fit well, stains wash out and they last.

Great for everyday school uniforms
My son is required to wear coat and tie M-F to school. The no iron pinpoint shirts look great. We wash cold and hang to dry. Looks crisp and ready to go with no additional effort. Quality is good. Brooks Brothers no iron is higher quality, but higher price. This ends up being a great compromise for us.

Nicest shirt around
This shirt is beyond fantastic. It is truly amazing that this shirt pops out of the dryer without needing to be ironed! It looks as if it were pressed. The material is so soft. Worth EVERY penny!

Way too big, and as required school uniform, untimely to deal with exchanges.
I used the sizing chart for this shirt and still got the size WAY to big for my son. Washed it, too, to see if that wuld help. Now I'm in a hurry to deal with shipping it back and exchanging it with school starting soon and the required logo still needs to be applied, so it takes longer.

This shirt is great! The no iron feature really works...
My son has been wearing this shirt for two years now and loves them. Be sure to pull straight out of the dryer and hang up and it looks beautiful, I have never ironed one yet!!!
