Short waisted pant. Well made heavy duty school pant. Elastic waist works well so they do not have to button. The only problem is that the fit is very short waisted. April 13, 2013

These pants are highly recommended! Washes up very nice, NO IRON Needed!!!! The fit is exactly as sized. She is a size 6, the length is perfect for her. Looks great! The elastic waist is great and ordering the inseam hemmed to the correct length was awesome! My daughter is very happy and says they are super comfortable for school. The pants come out of the dryer nice, no ironing needed. So pleased, it has taken us a long time to find a nice pair of pants for school that look nice, fit her body type (short and round) and will hold up with the daily wear and tear from a child. Pants fit well and having the elastic is great! The pants fit well. True to size. Only complaint they are more like hip huggers so its hard to have the school uniform shirt tucked in when seated. Overall, great pants. October 31, 2012
Wonderful pants Fit wonderfully! My long-legged 4yo will make it until the end of the school year in the size 5. She loves that the waistband allows her to pull use the bathroom. The snap is easy enough that she can do it all by herself too. These look sharp and don't gap on her skinny waist. I got a few of these in navy and I'm glad they look so great and fit so well. Last very well I have a special needs child with fine motor skill issues, and the elastic waist is perfect for pulling up without having to struggle with a button or zipper. I love that these pants wash very well without losing color and last long enough to get through the school year and then be a blessing to another child. I would highly recommend. September 15, 2012
These pants are durable and fit well. We have no problems with the fit - generally never do with Lands End. I've purchased the pants without the iron knees and can attest that the iron knee feature has saved us alot of money in buying replacement pants for an active boy. Great pants overall.
