Great dress, difficult buttons
It's an adorable dress, and it's a great addition to a uniform policy. But the buttons are very difficult to button, and after a few washes, it unbuttons while my child is wearing it.

Not what I expected
I ordered 2 dresses for my daughter (3yrs). Neither was very complimentary. At least the dark purple can be worn again; unfortunately, the ice pink got stained day one.

Perfect Uniform Dress
This dress is wonderful! The fabric is very soft; it washes and wears just perfect. It seemed to run on the small side but not dramatically so. It's just perfect for school!

Great way to add flair to a uniform dress !
This dress is super soft and the ruffle gives it that extra special something on a uniform dress. Also perfect for going out to dinner or church.

Great Buy
We bought this dress last school year. My daughter wore it in the summer with shorts and in the winter with leggings and a sweater. It still looks great and did not fade at all. I am buying another one for this school year. We can also start this school year with the one bought last year.

The dress was bourght 2 sizes too big on purpose.

Really cute BUT shrinks like crazy!
I bought this dress for my daughter in two sizes. The smaller of the two fit just right (hit just at the knee) and the larger was way too long (about 3 inches below her knee). When I washed and dried the smaller-sized dress, it shrunk so much that the skirt barely came down far enough to cover a pair of relatively short shorts. I then washed and dried the larger size, which now fits perfectly.
The larger dress was the size she usually wears, so the item does fit true-to-size, but only AFTER washing and drying. I have not experienced this much shrinking with prior Lands' End purchases and thus was not expecting it with this item. Fortunately, Lands' End agreed to take the item back even though it had been washed.
Beyond this issue, though, it is a very cute dress and seems well made.
