She loves it!
This is darling. It fits perfect. I pull it right out of the dryer and it's ready to wear. She would probably wear it everyday if I let her.

Thick fabric, wonderful fit, good quality
The fabric is thick and warm. The quality of the product is great. My 8-year old is skinny, so I wasn't sure how the dress is going to fit, but it fits perfect. There is an elastic band at the back of the dress that ensures the perfect fit. The length is fine, not too short, not too long.

Stylish and well tailored
I like the fit of this jumper better than the other plaid jumper style. This style is not as boxy.
My daughter is slim-average build.

Not fully lined
Unlike Lands Ends' uniform jumpers from years past, none of their jumpers is fully lined. Only the bodice is lined. The skirt section is pretty scratchy. Until there is a model which is fully lined, we will be purchasing our jumpers elsewhere.

Darling
This jumper is everyone's favorite. The slimmer fit is perfect...roomy enough for my average-build daughter to move but not an a-line like the other style. It looks darling with an oxford or a polo and my daughter loves the buckles. The lining makes it hang nicely and we never iron it, just pull it out of the dryer and hang it up. After nearly a year of weekly use, it looks like new.

Did not like the elastic in back - made it feel as if too tight
Material was as expected - did not expect the elastic in the back on the size 14 - never had it on other sizes we purchased,

Makes school uniforms tolerable to even the pickiest daughter
When we chose to change our daughter's school to one that required a uniform we were faced with a huge battle. Not only is my tall, slim, 8 year old daughter extremely picky about her clothing (both style and fit), but she DESPISES wearing dresses and skirts. We looked at both styles of jumpers in the Classic Navy/Evergreen plaid. She liked the buckles on this jumper and the fact that it looked more "grown up". The reviews won me over when they tended toward the jumper having a more slim fit with the elastic in the back making it more comfortable. We ordered a size 10 and the jumper fit perfectly - correct length, perfect width. She likes the jumper enough to choose to wear it even on days at school she isn't required to. I think that says it all! We will be ordering a few others for her younger sister.

Not too wide
We had to return the other jumper style we ordered from Land's End because it was way too wide for my daughter. This jumper is much slimmer and fits well. It also has a small gathered elastic piece in the back and helps with the fit. My daughter loves this jumper and I will be buying more of this style in the future.

no ironing required
Very cute jumper. Fits a little big, however, the fact that if I hang dry it I don't have to pull out my iron makes up for the fit.

Easy to care for
This is a really nice fitting dress. I do wish that the bottom of the dress was lined like the top portion. Easy to care for as I just throw it in on cold cycle and gentle dry like any other dress clothes. Quick removal from the dryer and no ironing is required.
