Nice weight to keep me warm
I was looking for a warm but not too heavy jacket or sweater and saw this cardigan. A perfect fit for me, perfect weight too - not too much nor too little. I love the shawl collar and the pockets. I wear it outside and it keeps me warm even in the wind. Very nice, soft material.

More colors please!
This will become my everyday light jacket. The style is a step up from zip fleece, but feels as comfy. More colors please! (suggest burgundy and olive green). I only checked fits small because the sleeves run just slightly narrow, but the body fit is regular.

We love it!
I bought one in blue for each of my two girls to wear with their uniforms for the winter because they are not really sweater fans. I also bought one for myself as a sweater alternative for work. They love it and so do I. It is so soft and comfortable and washes up like new. The longer length is very flattering and it can be dressed up or down.

Looks tailored, VERY nice!
I didn't think it possible to get a cardigan to look so tailored! Maybe because it's not knit, but fleece. . . . My very slim 8 year old who fits 7-8 looks fantastic in this cardigan in a size 10. I went bigger because I figured she'd wear layers underneath. For a larger size, it didn't look baggy or too big. I could turn up the sleeve, but she chose to wear it longer, but still, not too long. It was loose, but I believe the small would have fit just right, but not with much room to grow. My 8 year old is 50" tall and 58 lbs--VERY slim, but about average in height.

8 was too small, but the 10-12 was too big.
We ordered the 10-12 (she normally wears a size 10) and it fit ok in the waistline but seemed really big in the shoulders. The opposite was true of the 8. It fit her nicely in the shoulders and chest, but was too tight across the belly. I've noticed little girls ages 8-12 tend to have a little tummy. Perhaps you could have a regular size which is a little roomier in the waist area, and a slim for the skinny minnies who swim in those. My daughter loves how soft it feels. It's a very cozy style for school. Am curious to see how the color will hold through multiple washings. It will probably be just fine, as most Land's End products are usually superior to items you can get anywhere else.
