The cover-up is soft and warm.
I bought one in grey for myself and a green form my daughter to use as a robe. They are warm and very thick and soft. The hood stays up easily and adds an extra level of warmth. The 3/4 length sleeves are a must and difficult to find in most robes. Longer sleeves get wet when making coffee, brushing teeth, etc.
