Warm down - just the right color for school uniform
Keeps my granddaughter warm when she wears a long sleeve shirt. She likes it a lot.

This is a warm vest but, again Landsend needs to bring back the old straight DEEP-pockets on all their vests , everything slides out of these useless slanted pockets. Still not as well-made as their jackets a few years back! Don't cheapen your quality! Bought on sale wouldn't pay full price!

Big Child Medium = Womans size xs
I own several of this same style vest from Le's womens collection. They have been sold out in my size in most all colors, so I decided to try a big child's in medium size to see how it compared to the women's xs size. Well holding them up against each other, they are identical, same width and length, so any women out there who normally wears a LE's size xs and really wants this style vest, you will find the indentical fit with the medium from this big child's collection. The ONLY difference between the 2 is the closure, the snaps on the child's vest are located on the opposite side of the ladies vest. I love the simplicity of this vest, the snap closure, and the great shorter, smaller collar. Also the length along the bottom back is a tad longer than the front side which is great for providing more warmth. This is one of my favorite down vest because it provides great warmth without the bulk that you find in so many other down vests today.

Very light layer
This will not work through winter. Definitely meant for fall with it's thin filling, but too bulky to go under anything as a layer.
