We went back to the drawing board to develop a brand new line of polos that are all about comfort. The jersey fabric is extremely soft with a lightweight feel we know boys will love. Still built to last with all the durable construction details you expect from us. Machine wash. Imported.

Fit is true to size
I have always ordered the youth jersey school shirt and this was not the same shirt. They were always polo type shirts with cuffed sleeves. These shirts were like old man golf shirts with straight sleeves and collars. It's a shirt for school, so it's fine, but disappointing. Also, I don't understand why you can't make the jersey polo in adult sizes

Great light weight shirt for Arizona heat!
For the hot Arizona heat, this shirt is perfect for school. The performance polos are terrific for winter months, but too heavy for our warmer weather. The jersey polo still looks great after several washes, is soft on my son's sensitive skin & he doesn't complain about it, which of course is the biggest plus. :) Will definitely be buying more.

Doesn't Seem As Good Quality As the Performance Mesh
The Jersey Polo is really soft and comfortable but it seems to not stand up to day-to-day and washing as much as the Performance Mesh Polos. I find that it holds stains more easily and just looks "floppy" and no structure when worn. My son has this in white and I can't seem to keep it looking fresh and crisp. A darker color would probably hold up better.
The Performance Mesh Polos are the weave type of Polos that most people are accustomed to and looks a bit more professional.

My kid LOVES these!
I ordered it thinking it would be a little softer for my kiddo, and he was thrilled with them. They are his favorite, and I only had ordered him long sleeve, so he just pushed the sleeves up when it got warmer to wear them still! I just hope Land's End makes adult sizes, as he is growing up to be very big. If they don't, this might be the last year he can fit in big boy sizes.

Best of the Polos!! SUPER SOFT!!
These are by far the best LE polos if you have a boy like mine that likes extremely soft shirts. He's been wearing Crewcuts Jersey knit polos which are amazingly soft, but with Lands' End uniforms, this is his/my absolute favorite because it is most similar. It looks fantastic with the logo in light and dark colors. It is the lightest weight of all the polos which is great for Southern California weather, but still has enough weight that it should last a long time. It's like a soft cotton T-shirt that should just get better with wear. The only feedback I would like LE to consider is that all of their polos are fairly "boxy" which doesn't always look best on slimmer children. I'd LOVE a "slim" option like they have with the pants for a more "fitted" look. If they were a little longer and slimmer, they would last longer too since children tend to grow "up" faster than they grow "out".

My kids' favorite
When I first got these, I realized the collar was made of t-shirt material and not the usual polo collar. I personally did not like it, but it turns out, these are my boys favorite polos. They pick these first because the collars are soft and comfortable yet still fit the uniform requirements. I am buying many more!

Quality
This is not the same quality I have bought in a local School Uniform Supplier -
For less money we got Knitted Golf type shirts and this material is lesser than the quality of the undershirts my son wears... very flimsey

Tshirt quality polo.
I read in the reviews that this shirt was like a t-shirt but was surprised how t-shirt like it was. It can pass for my sons' uniform shirts if I take the time to iron them, but only then. My son did say it was comfortable but of course since it is made of t-shirt material. Next time I'll buy the Solid Performance Mesh shirts instead.

small and wide
Bought these shirts as part of my boys school uniform. Ordered sizes based on the chart provided. When we got the shirts they seemed to fit short and wide in the torso area. The sleeve length was also a little shorter than we like. They looked floppy and sloppy. Was concerned when some of the reviews stated they had shrinkage after washing since we could afford none of that. Decided to try and order up a size to see if that helps with the shortness of the shirt. Will also go with the same shirt but with the banded cuffs. On the bright side the material was very nice and my boys loved how "silky" it felt compared to the pique polos they have been wearing.

We love the material but the fit was a bit small. I ordered a larger size and it's great.
My son wears these shirts to school. I love the new material and style; however, it did fit a bit small. I ordered the larger size and it fits great!
