Like it I was surprise that this shorts fits a bit smaller than any other Lands End product I have purchased for my 11 years old son. My son likes it light weight, cool material for his gym class. October 16, 2012

Nice shorts, but a bit too short My son liked the fabrics, general fit, and pockets on these shorts. However, he outgrew them in length before the shorts were otherwise too small, and his legs are not unusually long. All uniform shorts at my son's school are supposed to be as close to knee length as possible, and these were several inches above the knee in size XL by the time he was in 7th grade. The men's sizes are not any longer. February 23, 2012
Way too small The size purchased was a size Large (14 16) and it was more like a small (6 8). Reordered a XL and hoping it will fit since the shorts are required for school uniform. September 4, 2011
These shorts are the perfect color and fit and wash well! These are a great fit for an average size 12 year old boy. We are very pleased with the quality. After several wears and washes they still hold their color and shape. My son has PE three times a week so I am constantly washing them. Even the pairs from last year still look brand new! Required, Yet Comfy This is part of my son's uniform for PE. My son really likes wearing them! The have a drawstring so they should fit him for two school years. I ordered a size bigger and just made the waist tighter. They don't bulk up even though they are a bit big. My son also really likes the large pockets. June 25, 2011
