Great for skinny boys too!
I bought these in a size 10 for my son who is 57 inches tall and weighs about 65 pounds. It is very difficult to find boys elastic waist pants (his personal preference) that have a slim enough waist with long enough legs. I generally have to take in his sweat pants to get long enough legs. Although they are listed as girls' pants there is no indication on the tag that they are girls. I am very happy to have found these pants for my son.

Tight in the waist. Very long.
These pants fit small in the waist. They are very long. School logos are at the bottom of the pant leg. This makes tailoring impossible.

Really Disappointed
I was so excited to find exercise pants with pockets!! The zipper at the bottom of the leg is a bonus. They fit great. BUT, the outer fabric is that noisy stuff from 80s track suits. I didn't want to make noise walking in the 80s & definitely don't want to now! But for the NOISY fabric, I'd have kept these pants. Please, please, please make them with silent fabric. Had to return.

hard to fit pants
Gym pants are hard to fit thin girls with long legs. Smaller size pants fit but length is too short and the larger size, length is good but pants too big. Plus shipping takes FOREVER

small waist and seat
The pants are well made; however, they run small in the waist and seat. Therefore, we had to buy up and hem the bottom. The zippers at the ankles make hemming difficult. My daughter complained that the lining is scratchy. Even with the issues mentioned they are very well made and this is our third pair. It is a required part of our uniform. We have never ripped the knees or busted the seat when we bought a size up. I would love Lands End to increase the waist and hip measurement and change the lining.

Should be available in a variety of lengths, just like other Lands' End pants.
The fit in the waist and hips are ok and allows enough room. My only issue with this pants is that for a very expensive pants, I cannot customize the length. It is not the best look, when I have to hem the bottom, since it has a zipper at the end. But that is the only way my daughter can wear her pants. The Zipper is NOT a necessity for the uniform , and so, if Lands' End could offer this pants with customize lengths that would be great, even if it means losing the zipper. Please consider LE.

Great!
My daughters wear this pants twice a week and the color and fabric stay like new. They are comfortable to wear and the mesh lining is a plus! Definitely recommend it!

snug fitting
I bought these pants in size 7 for my 5 yr old. I expected these to be big/full but the waist is very tight. The lenght is long but the pant pulls around the rear. They also seem short waisted. They just don't fit right.

Love these!
These pants fit great and look great. The first time my kids wore these to gym class, everyone wanted to know where they got them. The are much more stylish than regular uniform gym pants.

Lovely, but they lasted THREE gym classes.
Seriously -- and my daughter is a girly-girl! I can't imagine if she was actually into sports!!! Big hole in the knee. Very disappointed, but I'll be buying another pair because that's her school uniform. I wonder how many pairs I'll need to make it until June.....
