School Uniform 2-button Stretch Skort (Above The Knee) 4.4 5 29 29
The waist size is too big. According to the size chart, this one (Size 8) should be fit for 23 inches-waist and 53 inches-height ( my daughter). However, this skort size was BIG BIG on the waist, even though I pulled out all elastc- band . I measure the waist of the Skort itself, it is 26-27 inches. Way big for 23 inch-waist. But the length was right. I like the quality regarding fabric texture and colors ( including after washing and drying). It is my kids school uniform, so they wear it all the time. Very sporty but still keeps girls figures. I had to re-order the smaller size ( size 7). I haven't receive it yet; so I don't know how it will fit for my kid. October 22, 2012
true to size Great color and fit...wears in daily for school uniform. September 18, 2012
Not bad While I wish Lands' End still made the easy-care just-above-knee skorts I bought three or four years ago, this is the next best thing. It's a bit shorter, the fabric requires more careful handling, and the waistband' s a little different, but overall it works for me. My one problem has been the fact that the waist is loose on me, especially after stretching out at the end of the day. Ordering one size smaller would probably have taken care of that issue, but seriously emphasized my peri-menopausal paunch. So I found a matching wool surcingle belt, which has been an attractive compromise. (Frankly, I think it's probably my body that's the problem, not the skort. :)) September 16, 2012
Pleased with purchase This skort is easy to wear, comfortable, washes well with minimal wrinkling in the dryer. It does wrinkle when wearing and it is a little shorter than I would like. I am not very tall and hoped it would be more at the knee than above the knee (product description). All in all I'm pleased with this purchase. August 19, 2012
This skort is perfect for Girl Scouts. We were looking for a comfy skort for Girl Scout camp and this skort fit perfectly. My 9 year old had to wear it to camp right away, she came home raving how she could do anyrhing in it, climbing, running, hopping and sitting. We purchased the light tan which is the jr. cadet color to go with her camp shirt. We had to adjust the waist with the inserts to fit (love the stretch elastic with the buttons). The spandex adds to the skort for full movement and the softness is unreal. Great Job LE. June 28, 2012
great skorts I think these skorts are great. They fit well, the length is perfect (just above my knees). I have two small children so I am down on the floor and/or ground with them all the time. With the skorts I feel that I can look nice and still feel comfortable playing with my children without having to worry about being "unlady-like." The pockets are a nice touch too. They can be dressed up or down. I have another pair of skorts from Lands End in a different color and style, they are great as well. May 28, 2012
My 15-yr.-old daughter loves this~ My 15-yr.-old daughter is petite--the length and fit is perfect! It's for school, and she really likes it A LOT... May 12, 2012
Perfect fit and very practical Love this skirt. It's not too long or short, comfortable, offers coverage with the built-in shorts and I LOVE the big pockets, which are hard to find in uniform skirts. It washes well and ironing is not necessary. March 17, 2012
Small! I have a very petite 5 year old who still wears size 4 bottoms. I ordered the 5S thinking there would be room for growth in the waist, but actually she complained it was tight in the waist even with tabs on the loosest setting so I am exchanging for a 6S. She is 39" tall and weighs 34lbs. My advice: Order 1-2 sizes up. February 17, 2012
Too short! Unfortunately this skort is our school uniform. The material is fine and the skirt is cute for an outing but it is way too short for girls in school who do not know how to sit properly. My daughter who is 5 years old and not very tall , ordered the 6x just for the extra length. However , the length is still a mini , like you would see in a tennis match. Ive addressed this to the principle but as he is a male person , he doesnt get it. Now I have ordered a size 8 for the length and I had to cut all the extra material out as it will bunch up heavily when tightening the elastic. The inner shorts is very big so it doesn't do its job to cover up the underpants as its meant to. Lands-End come on this is a school uniform not a tennis outfit! February 5, 2012
