Some Skorts suffered dirt spots. Some had material flaws, minimal sizing faults, sewing faults & color flaws while some had packaging faults. Maddening as these defects are, they're also quite minor. If we felt otherwise, you wouldn't find us offering these at any price.
Looks like a skirt all the way around with hidden knit shorts for comfort and coverage. Little Girls is a pull-on style with a touch of back-elastic for added ease. Girls and Women's have a hidden side-zip entry. All have an inside adjustable waist to fine-tune the fit and a back vent for moving room. 60% cotton/40% polyester. Above-the-knee length. Machine wash. Imported.
NQP Juniors' Blend Chino Skort
Teen loves this skirt
This skirt is not under my daughter's school dress code either but no one had issue with it. My daughter loves it because it fits well and is shorter than the other skirts available for her school. Unbelievable price. Did not see why it is NQP. I wish they had this in their regular offering.

For the fussy teen who wants a nice fit
My daughter's school required an a-line skort with a flap piece in front. The teens wore this skort instead. (It wasn't actually the dress code, but, close enough that they were tolerated). The older girls loved it because it was straight and short and more form-fitting than the required uniform's skort. Great fit for stylish teens who need uniforms. It washes well, and has a nice brushed feel to it.

Cute, but shorter than expected, skort.
While there are no junior sizings listed on the Lands End site, the junior sizes seem equivalent to those listed for standard American junior sizes -- look online. I wear a size 2 in regular Lands End Women's sizes and I found the Lands End Juniors size 3 to be a just slightly trimmer version of the size 2. It still fits (and I will therefore keep it) but a size 5 may work better. One deviation from the listed description is that the skirt is shorter than "just above the knees". I found the hem to hit at my lower thigh when I'm standing (I'm 5'4"). Still, it seems respectable for the workplace (especially since it is really a skort and not a skirt. I am pretty conservative at work and would not wear it to work if it was really a skirt but there's no chance of flashing my underwear when I sit down, even if I cross my legs ladies style.). As with all of the skorts that Lands End puts out nowadays, you cannot tell that it's a skort just by looking at it. It also has a nice classic cut/line that can be used regularly. Finally, I could not detect any obvious faults with the Not Quite Perfect skort. It is a good buy for the price.
