This is a super nice case but does not fit my iphone 5. Returned it.

Poor workmanship
Sounds like I am one of the few people who got one that my iPod would actually fit in. Other than that, this is a poorly made product. Glad I didn't pay full price or it would be going back. The needlepoint is okay, but the sewing is dreadful--can you say "crooked as a dogs hind leg?" Looks like a kid made it!

Cute, Alittle too Small
I found this case on the website and after much debate decided to get it. When it came in i was very excited at how nice the hand stiching looked. I use mine for my ipod5 and yes it does stick out the top alittle but not a cm. Id say half that. I dont mind it however because it does make it easier to get out of the sock. If the top was covered id have to dig into it to pull it out making it more difficult. It does have some extra room around the pod so i usually use it as a wallet too and stick my debit card and a couple loose dollars into it. I am satisfied with my purchase.

do not purchase for ipod 5g
We purchased two of these cases for ipod 5g. The device does not fit into the case. We tried to stretch the case, but it didn't work, one tearing at the edge, both still too tight. Children are hanging on to the cases and trying to use them as they are pretty. Even with stretching, the ipod sticks out of the top of the case by 1cm - not a good fit.

Exactly what I wanted for my iPhone 5
This case gives enough room for an iPhone 5 with it's own case that snaps on the back to fit well yet allows you to pull it out quickly when you want/need to use the iPhone. Perfect for so those who carry their phone in a handbag. I ordered several more for gifts to other iPhone 5 owners.

Love the Look But Not the Fit
This is an adorable cover and while you can put your iphone or ipod in it, it is a stuggle to get it there and out. I am regretfully returning it.
