Seven miles down the road from us there's a town with a thriving arts community. The place has always been unique (the first miners there often lived in "badger holes" dug into bluffs or hills — giving our state its nick-name). It's there in Mineral Point, WI, where artisans craft this piece, welding the steel base and forming the top from locally sourced, recycled crates once used to transport carrots. Due to variation in the crates, each piece is unique — just like the place it comes from. Made in USA.
