These can be easily improved
These hose fit well, are comfortable, and have powerful elastic ribbing that keeps them up. However, Lands' End could inexpensively and usefully make it easier for us guys who don't distinguish colors well (especially in dimly lit rooms) to print "Black" or "Navy" where it already prints its logo on the sole. For many of us that would save time and effort!

Attracts Lint and Pills
My husband loves wool casual socks so he decided to try a wool dress sock for work. Lands' End is the first we've tried and what a disappointment these have been. They attract lint like a magnet, even after turning them inside out before washing--and washing with dark items--they are always speckled with lint and the lint doesn't come off, even after using 2" masking tape on them. This product is not up to the usual fine quality that we've come to expect from Lands' End.

Looks great, feels great, falls apart.
Very disappointed in these socks compared to other products I have purchased from Land's End. They look good and feel good, but they started getting holes and wearing out after the second wash. Holes in the toe and in the ankle area, which should not be a problem.

Great sock, but does not last long
I have been buying these for a couple of years now. The appearance is first class, and they're amazingly comfortable. A key factor for me is that they stay up - I'm not leaning down and pulling my socks up all day. The price is a bit on the high side, but I'm unable to find anything that looks as good or fits as well anywhere else. The only real complaint I have is that they just don't last very long - the back of the heel wears through in about 4 months. On average, I wear each pair one day a week, so this means that I'm getting 15 - 17 uses per pair before I have to replace them.

quality has seriously declined since last purchase
I have worn this style of Lands' End socks for eight years. I ordered these as replacements. The wool is scratchy and thin compared to the older socks. The fit is skimpy and tight at the top. Even the dye colors are not as attractive. Plus, the toe seams are no longer color coded to make it easy to sort black and navy socks. I am very disappointed in Lands' End. I would rather pay a little more and get a quality product.

short fibers, weak material, pills instantly
The colors and touch are nice, but after 1 wear the heels of the kaki and brown socks (slightly different feel) both pilled and there was a pinhole on on sock that formed on its own due to weak thread - after washing that pin hole was a true hole. I have NEVER had such poor quality merino dress socks. I loved the fit - cut perfect - but they need to get in touch with their overseas wool buyers because they purchased fuzz this year.....so sad. If they reinforce heels and soles they might be able to continue with same quality thread, but if you are man who wants to wear they regularly they will not last more than a couple months before they look thin and worn out. Better luck with their wool purchase next year?

True to size holds shape
Sox are true to size , they don't stretch out of shape and colors don't fade

Feels great, but does not last
These socks fit well and feel great, so long as they last. Unfortunately, they tend to develop holes in the heels after a couple of months of weekly wear.
