Excellent response to coat as gift
I gave this coat as a gift to my boyfriend after researching a wide variety of other brands. He is so pleased with it. The charcoal grey looks wonderful on him. This was also one of the few brands with a tall version available which made alterations unnecessary. I recommend this coat.

Great coat -- missing features for price point
Great coat. The fabric is really, really nice. I got a tall -- the fit is fantastic. Usually, even on a tall, the sleeves are too short for me. That is not the case here. The zipper and toggles are of good construction and the hood lies nice and flat - great for the car.
I have two complaints. One, the sleeves should be lined to make it easier to get on and off. Second -- and this one is the reason it lost a star -- there is no inside pocket. A coat of this price range, should have at least one inside pocket.

I bought many coats this year from LE
but I think that the duffle coat is my favorite. I have been wearing it to church and around town. The quality is very good.

Great fit!
I am 6'4" and non-athletic 245 pounds. The XXLT fit perfectly though sleeves a bit long but that can be taken care of. Very good quality. Bonus: even shipped with a large, sturdy hanger!

Great Coat, fits big
I have been eyeing this coat for a while and finally got it. I am 6'3 and nearly 250 lbs. I usually wear a XXL for most things, XL tall for others. I ordered an XL tall for this coat and it is a little big, but should work well, especially when wearing multiple layers. I have the deep moss heather color, and it is a little darker than the picture shows, but still looks great. Overall, very satisfied with the coat, but definitely don't go to big or you will be swimming in it. The sleeves are almost too long for me, but again, fine for a winter coat.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Worn daily, primarily over a sport coat, I like the look, feel and weight of this coat. At 5'11", 180 lbs. the L coat is on the big side, but that is what I was looking for to wear over sport coats..
Positives: two-way zipper, hand warmer pockets, over-sized for use as top coat
Negative: unlined sleeves require extra effort to put on over sport coat or other layers
Overall, I like the coat and expect to get a lot of use from it in upstate New York.

Poor quality fabric
The fabric is thin and insubstantial. The construction is flimsy. What was I thinking? Back it goes.

Most Elegant Coat in the World
This is the handsomest and most comfortable coat I have ever seen or worn... and I mean EVER! The dramatic detailing and tailoring make this coat look and feel far more elegant than coutour at 10X the price! The wool is so soft you would think it is cashmere, and the fit is "true." The buttons and loops are double-sewn for security, and the short hoodie lies flat in back when not in use. I chose the camel color which almost looks like short fur. The lining is red plaid wool for extra warm, yet there is nothing at all bulky about this coat at all and it doesn't weigh you down to the ground like a greatcoat. I am 6'3" and the "tall" version of this fits perfectly at the top of my pant's inseam. This coat is a treasure, and I may even order a second one in a different color. What a deal!
