These are some of the most comfortable boots/shoes I have, perfect for 3/4 of the year in Wisconsin.
This is my second pair of these, they fit great and are warm enough for winter but were fine in fall and spring. The looks are great. I give them a 4 sail rating rather than 5 as I would rather see round laces instead of flat (easier to lace) and use more weather resistance thread on the seam at the toe (which broke and separated on my first pair). The reinforced toe does not show wear and adds to the appearance. I used them very hard-planting trees, snow removal, and general cleanup of property in the rain, snow and dry sand of the drought, they remained waterproof throughout.

Questionable quality
I bought these strictly for walking the dog in cold, inclement weather. Out of the box they fit well. In rain and snow, they are warm and keep my feet dry. I have no complaints about the fit. My one complaint about the quality is regarding the lace eyes. They have cheap plastic trim on them. After a couple of months of use, the trim on the eyes started breaking off. So far, I've lost four on one boot and two on the other. I really like the boots, but with the plastic part gone, the lace eyes look pretty crummy. I probably wouldn't buy these again unless they address the problem.

Great in Blizzard "Nemo" 2013!
My husband just came in from snow blowing and shoveling 28 inches of snow after Nemo hit us in Massachusetts. After 2 and 1/2 hours outside in these boots, his feet are still completely dry and warm! He was so excited he had me log on and leave a review. He has been wearing them regularly and they have performed great, but today was the big test. They came through with flying colors! Not to mention, they look great too.
We got these on sale at Christmas, but they would still be worth the money full price. One note: order up one size from what you usually wear. As another reviewer noted, they run a bit small.

Canada Tested
I live in Bronx, NY. Took a trip up to Montreal, CA for New Years. When we arrived they'd gotten hit with about a 1' 1/2 of snow. I wore my thicker socks while outdoors and my feet were warm as long as I wasn't standing in one place for too long. If you're going to be indoors make sure you have regular socks to avoid the over sweating. I normally wear a 9 with any footwear (mocs, sandals, sneakers) from LE and found 9.5 to be the better choice. 9 was unusually tight with reg socks. Not one time, even now has the lace come undone I'm impressed by that. However, the laces are actually a little long. I have to tuck them away. I got them in black, nice looking boot. They grip very well on tile and other wet surfaces. They're really comfortable. I had to get use to my feet kind of curling up, went away in a day or so. I really haven't tested for waterproof, some rain, I'll add to this another time when I do, good or bad. Thumbs up so far!

Very stylish. Very Warm. Very cozy. Very comfortable. Very sturdy.
We bought them for our son who goes to school in Minnesota. He loves them. He let me wear them a few times. These boots are awesome. They are very stylish. They are very warm. They are very cozy. They are very comfy. They are very sturdy. They are my idea of a perfect boot! I can't wait until they go on sale. I will buy a pair for myself. I hate to say this, but I looked at L.L. Bean first and they did not have anything this stylish.

Love the Boots
Got these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. Great fit and they look sharp on, plus they are very warm and keep the foot dry. Don't have any hesitation they are great boots!

disappointing experience
I bought these boots for my teenage son for Christmas. He tried them on in the house, and as he was lacing them up, one of the lace grommets broke off. A great shame because otherwise he loved them.

Excellent winter boot
I ordered this boot in preparation for my first winter in Toronto and Hamilton in Canada. They were comfortable right out of the box requiring nearly no breaking in period. They are warm! I can wear them with my regular athletic socks in the snow and haven't had any issues with cold feet. They have been waterproof so far as well and the salt doesn't seem to bother them. They are not the greatest in terms of traction on ice - but that's not really their purpose. Overall a fantastic boot!

Good looking boots!
I ordered two different boots, not sure which one I would like better (or which would fit better). I went with these and they are a sharp looking boot. They run a bit narrow in the toe box, especially if one wears a heavy sock, so be warned. That's the only improvement I would ask for. They're comfortable and stylish.
