Love it
Love this hat. Got it because I loved the other harris tweed hat from Lands, which seems to have sold out. Though I think I prefer the pattern on the other hat, this one seems even better: thicker tweed, and more accurate fit. The other ran large (I measured the Sm/med to a size 7-1/2 exactly), but I still loved it enough to get this one thinking it would be similarly large on my 7-1/4 head. This one fit more true, and is perfect for me. They seem to run large, possibly because the knowledge of how a hat should fit has been lost (For other second generation from the 'men don't wear hats' era, like myself). People with small heads have no real choice here, unless you don't mind the hat covering the top of your ears look. I would say the smallest head this would fit right is a 7-1/8 (though quite possibly will be too large), and it would probably still be comfortable on a 7-3/8. Larger than that should certainly consider the large size. I love this hat, and although its made in china, the high quality of the fabric makes it a great hat and i love it for the fall/winter. Styling wise, its sort of a medium-loose constructed fedora, making it soft, but it still maintains its shape overall. Its a nice look, particularly for long and/or thin faces, because of the narrow, pinched crown

Great Hat, Great Deal
This is the real deal, a genuine Harris Tweed hat, for a more than fair price. Looked all over the place, online and in shops, and did not find anything as nice at any price. The color and pattern is muted between deep warm and cool tones so that it goes with anything. Has the authentic Harris Tweed tag. A really top-drawer winter hat.

Nice fedora!
I ordered this hat at my local Sears (none were in stock) and that way the shipping to my home was free. It arrived well packed and quickly. My hat size is 7 1/4 and the small/medium fir perfectly. I think it's a little odd that Land's End doesn't use S M L XL as most of the other hat manufacturers do. But nevertheless, in authentic Harris Tweed, this is a very nice fedora and I am completely satisfied with it.
