The fit was excellent and the quality seems excellent - very comfortable for my morning walks

These hikers are exceptionally comfortable and wear well.
The fit is great. The laces are good quality and hold a knot well. These hikers wear like slippers and provide good traction. A very good value.

Extremely comfortable!
These shoes are extremely comfortable. Nice fit that feels like a moccasin. Very light. Love them enough I ordered another pair.

Husband loves them
He wears them for shopping, walking the dog but puts thick socks for even extra comfort.

Good shoe but even the wide is a tight fit
I bought these for my husband. The shoe is comfortable but I wish the "wide" I ordered had more room in the toe area.

OK Shoe, too narrow
I purchased the Men's Trekker Light Trail Shoe in the wide width. These shoes are not a wide width. The inside tag says 2E, but I guess in China, where everything Lands End sells is made, that does not mean wide.
The shoe seems to be well made and even though they are not wide enough to wear socks with these shoes.

I am happy with the shoe's fit and look.
I was a little surprised with the textured insole. It did take a little getting use to. But I am now happy.

Nice looking but feels cheap
These shoes are nice looking and true to size, but there are 3 things I don't like about them:
1) There are exterior components that appear to be low-grade plastic. Not even rubber of fake-leather, but hard shiny plastic. For $80, I expected a bit more.
2) The tong folds over inwards on its sides when pulled out at fitting. It is made of a very soft material and doesn't properly hold its shape.
3) The laces are hard to pull. The last two holes are in the area of the shoe made of plastic and the small size of the holes make it hard to pull the laces through. Too bad, since the first three holes are loops through which the laces glide easily.
