Description

Classic nautical style.

  • Soft, warm wool/cashmere blend flannel
  • Classic double-breasted styling
  • Full lining
  • Side vents
  • Four inside pockets
  • Traditional Fit: the classic American cut
  • Six-button front

We leave off the shoulder boards, but our Admiral Jacket shares the military heritage of crisp style. The rich, 95% worsted wool/5% cashmere flannel feels exquisitely soft. And with the jacket's peaked lapels, side vents, ticket pocket and anchor-embossed buttons — not to mention the six-button front — you'll always look shipshape. Fully lined. Four inside pockets. Dry clean. Imported.

A good jacket at a great price The fit is as good as a suit from one of the oldest American men's clothiers. The jacket is very much better constructed than an earlier review led me to expect. I wore it to church the first Sunday I had it. October 13, 2012
Poor construction The fabric is nice but the construction is really bad. The fabric sags between the top button and lapel, in fact the entire lapel is poorly made and hangs unevenly. The front left and front right bottom edges do not meet, one is longer and hangs below the other...with all buttons buttoned. So, in essence, a poorly constructed garment. In addition, all of the buttons were hanging loose and would have to be reattached. Who made these jackets, anyway? Surely no one with experience in quality control! I am no seamstress and shouldn't have to have the six buttons reattached on a new jacket! March 10, 2012
Good overall quality and stying. Excellent value. It's my principal blazer for business travel. January 7, 2012
