So far so good.....
Have only owned and worned shirt for a few weeks, comfortable yet not as roomy as "traditional fit" cut from L.E. other shirt lines. Comfortable in warm humid weather but a bit difficult to press to "crips look".

Excellent value and quality
This shirt is beautiful. We got it in two colors and it washes well.

A shirt from the movie "Planet of Apes"
I ordered this shirt in size 16x35 previously having measured my arm length exactly in accordance with instruction on the web site. When I received the shirt and put it on it turned out that actual sleeve length was 40 inches if I measure it the same way. I am 68.5" tall. From all others perspectives the shirt looks and fits great. Sorry, folks, but I am not proponent of Darwin's theory. I hope I will have it replaced.

Cool and crisp
My wife bought me this shirt in the green check. I've worn it several times and really like the button down, long sleeve style. I do send my shirts out, so cannot comment on how it would look straight from the dryer.

Nice for cool summer evenings
No complaints about these shirts, except I'd like to see them in a few more patterns. Great for this time of year, when it starts getting cool in the evenings.

These are beautifully constructed shirts.
The details of these linen shirts are meticulous. I'm so pleased with them! The collars are pert, and likewise, the cuffs and fronts button crisply. The Tall-sized shirts are generously proportioned which has been a pleasure on hot days. Drat, I wasn't quick enough to get a tall pink striped shirt, but the weave of the pink plaid is gorgeous, and I am very happy when I wear the classic white ones. I even cleverly wore one with a suit and tie to a business meeting yesterday. What a relief!

Finally got my husband to put on something very new to him - awesome !
Comfort is # 1 , colors are flattering to both browns and blues. He likes the colors and pattern and I love it on him.

Good shirt, just missized
Just inexplicably big. I went down a size and still have ample room in the neck, shoulders, and torso. Happy with the smaller shirt.

Excellent for casual occasions and work
I recently purchased this shirt, and was immediately impressed. It was enough to single-handedly convince me that I needed to own a lot more linen, immediately.
Certainly, this is the traditional fit and there's nothing tight or form fitting about it. The good news is that this makes it superb for workwear. I wore it for a full, sunny day of yardwork and it managed fantastically - it kept the sun out but let the air through in a way that would have been impossible for cotton.
The quality of the tailoring struck me as very good and classically American - single needle stitching on all seams, great roll on the button-down collar, a split mitred yoke, and the patterns matched quite well.
The fabric is substantial, which both inspires confidence in its durablility and makes it appropriate for a cooler day than would be expected. My only surprise with the fabric is how slubby it was. This added a great bit of authenticity for casual wear, but I'd caution against using it for a formal occasion. Keep in mind that this is linen, and that linen wrinkles. Such is the price of breathability.
Overall, I'd buy another one for sure - but I think I'm going to have to wait a long time before I'll need to.

This is an outstanding value.
I bought some Irish linen shirts from Lands' End many years ago and am still wearing them after maybe 200-300 washes. They're great shirts, and these are very similar. In the new version, the tall size is not cut quite so long in the body (which I regret) and the sleeves are cut a little too narrow (which is characteristic of Lands' End) but, apart from these two small criticisms, this is an awesome shirt. It looks great, is cool in hot weather and the substantial fabric will wear forever. The sizing is somewhere between true and generous, as it should be in a really good garment. Try to find another shirt of this quality at anywhere NEAR the price! And by the way, people who are bothered by wrinkles shouldn't wear linen.
