terribly tight fit, useless lapels, poor lining, color not true green, front gores nice.
Fit is terribly tight and not true to other Lands End Harris Tweed cuts. Lapels are so narrow that throat tab is useless, as is trying to close lapels in inclement weather : impossible to close. Cotton lining is inferior to other types commonly found on quality jackets such as Bemberg lining. Interior pockets are skimpy to say the least, not like other Lands End work. Color is not true green in any kind of natural or artificial light, but blend is closer to charcoal. Good ideas : Front gores look nice but probably increase restricted fit. Throat tab is great if it just worked. Arm holes about correct. Quality of Harris Tweed meets the mark.

Stiff, Narrow Lapels, Overpriced
CONS:
The Classic version was a little tighter through waist and hips than my other four 42R sport coats, the fabric is stiff, the lapels are narrower than standard and the coat was over priced, even on sale.
PROS:
I love the gnarly fabric and hunting jacket themes (at pockets and double vent at back) and will modify this supposed 42R jacket and keep it, because it does "just" fit around middle, without pulling at button.
MY PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS:
I'll replace plastic buttons with dark chocolate brown leather ones and add dark chocolate brown, matte, distressed supple leather trim at edges of collar, lapels and pockets, which will widen appearance of lapels. I'll see if tailor can let the back seam out and get him to extend arm length 1/2". I'll eat the extra hundred dollars wasted on the purchase, just to avoid more shopping.

exactly the same as previous reviewer
I only can repeat verbatim the other reviewer's words. Same experience (too small in waist and hips; stiff fabric), particularly in comparison with my earlier Lands End Harris Tweed jackets, which I love dearly (all of them).
I wasn't surprised by the fact, that the garment wasn't assembled in the USA; nowadays the rule, not the exception. Still, a pity.

Bad fit
I purchased a Harris Tweed sport jacket from Lands' End several years ago and still wear it today. It is my favorite jacket. I purchased this jacket in the exact same size. It fits fine in the shoulders and sleeves, but the waist is extremely small. I would not be able to wear a sweater under this jacket and be able to button the jacket comfortably. I purchased the traditional fit, as that is the cut of all my other sport and suit jackets. This jacket was 3 to 4 inches smaller in the waist and hip areas than any other jacket I have of the same size. The fabric of this jacket is much stiffer than other Harris Tweed fabric I have experienced. Nevertheless, there are many quality features of this jacket that are very appealing. The color and tailoring details are very nice. However, the jacket is not cut right so I am returning it. In addition, the description says this jacket is imported from fabric made in Scotland. I felt that this was a bit misleading. I incorrectly assumed that the entire garment was made in Scotland. It is made in Mexico. Only the tweed fabric is made in Scotland.
