Description
Single-ply yarn creates a non-solid solid color.
- Soft poplin fabric
- Buttondown collar
- Classic dress-shirt tailoring
- Perfect fit: your exact neck and sleeve sizes
- Traditional Fit: the classic American cut
End on end means that the color yarns are crossed with white yarns. So, from a distance this shirt appears to be solid color; up close, the interesting texture/pattern becomes obvious. The 100% cotton is combed to remove short, weak fibers. Single-ply yarns minimize texture. But the yarn’s “40s” diameter is the same as in our Hyde Park Oxford, so it’s strong (while the different weave keeps this fabric from being heavy). Machine wash. Imported.

Might be good for a summer shirt
It's a nice look, but I was expecting a traditional thick quality shirt. I really couldn't believe it was so thin. I want to buy a shirt and wear it for 5 years. This material just can't last as long as a good thick dress shirt. It is a nice looking after ironed. But people who buy these shirts don't want to have to buy them ever 2-3 years. I paid top dollar for this shirt when it first came out in the winter of 2013. I selected "not recommend" this, but if they had a "maybe" choice, I would have selected that.

Not Permanent Press - Nice Color & Fit
Pro: Nice color and material. Fits well. Comfortable.
Cons: Ordered it in error; assuming it was permanent press. Wife liked the color & I'd had initials sewn on it, so I kept it. Does require careful ironing! Understanding that if you order one may offset your disappointment. If I routinely sent shirts to the laundry (as I did when working) it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. As is, I'll wear it sparingly because I hate to iron.

very thin material
I did not like the thickness of this shirt. The quality seems poor.
