Description

The No Iron Pinpoint takes a quantum leap in silkiness.

  • Made with Supima, America’s finest cotton for exceptional smoothness
  • No Iron Pinpoint fabric looks pressed all day
  • Dressy Straight Collar
  • Classic dress-shirt tailoring
  • Perfect fit: your exact neck and sleeve sizes
  • Tailored Fit: compared to Traditional Fit, it is 1½″ smaller in the chest and 2 3/4″ smaller in the waist, with proportioned cuffs, collar

Want a dressier shirt? Start with better fiber. This No Iron Pinpoint is pure Supima® cotton — the top 3% of the U.S. cotton crop. This yarn has the same ultra-fine “80s” width as the previous shirt, but now, with fewer fiber “ends” thanks to Supima’s exceptional length, it’s smoother and stronger than ever.

Along with the No Iron finish that keeps the shirt looking just-pressed all day, we build in a couple of additional features. First, wicking, to increase your comfort on muggy days. And stain release to keep the shirt looking new longer. The closest Supima shirt we find on the market today doesn’t have these last two features. But does cost nearly 50% more. 100% Supima cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Men's Tailored Fit Solid No Iron Supima Pinpoint Straight Collar Dress Shirt 4.1 5 34 34
Nice Fit This shirt was purchased for my adult son who enjoys having a sister and mother to help pick his clothes. He is interviewing for that first job, so we found shirts at Marshall's, Ross, and TJ Maxx. The shirts were brand names and quite nice, but none fit or felt as nice as this shirt. I'm glad we purchased it. May 12, 2013
Less iron - yes; No iron - no The tailored fit shirt fits a slender person fairly well - certainly much better than the Lands' End regular fit. However, I would still prefer it to have a tighter fit from below the chest through the bottom of the shirt. The material is fairly light weight and as a result a white tee shirt is visible through the white color (the light blue and light french blue are fine in this regard). While the shirt comes out of the dryer substantially less wrinkled than a regular cotton shirt, I wouldn't call it no iron. Even if I remove the shirt immediately after the dryer stops it still needs a light touch up with an iron to have what I consider a crisp no wrinkle appearance. October 13, 2012
Not worth the money Best to avoid. Despite careful drying at various temperatures, the shirt still needs ironing. Also, it has a shiny sheen to it, sure it is fine if you are a rapper but not appropriate for business. June 1, 2013
Too large, not my idea of tailored at all I really wanted to like this. The material was high quality and the workmanship looked excellent. However, despite carefully measuring myself I found the shirt way too large, especially considering it was the tailored fit. I have bought other Lands End items with the tailored fit and they worked perfectly on me, but I felt a bit like I was swimming in this. I think the problem is that the chest size is linked to the neck size - you can't specify a particular neck size and independently choose the correct chest size. I'm 183 (6 ft) tall and slim, but not skinny build, so nothing unusual. I just don't like swimming in excess material. I compared this to several other shirts I own with a similar neck size and they had about 2 inches less chest size and about 1 inch less sleeve size (upper sleeve). Sadly it had to be returned. Excellent shirts! These are the only shirts that I buy. At the end of the day my shirt looks as fresh as it did at the beginning of the day. May 28, 2013
Good quality and fit If you are physically fit and need a dress shirt that isn't bulky and too wide, this is definitely the shirt for you. The fabric quality is excellent and the fit is trim but not too tight - very nice looking and not sloppy. The tag says "NO STARCH" which is a problem since we send these out to be laundered. Would Land's End please advise as to why no starch? That is the only drawback to this well-made dress shirt. May 25, 2013
good fit, nice material. It fits my 22 year old - broad in the shoulders, trim in the waist. He loves it! May 11, 2013
Excellent shirt, good value. Good tailoring, stitching and hard to beat value for the money. Just get rid of, or make easier to remove, the annoying scracthing labels fasten to inside of the collar area. May 9, 2013
Great looking shirt, outstanding fit, comfortable to wear. This shirt has just the right amount of material to fit well and to look sharp while being very comfortable. The exact sleeve size is a particular bonus. Most two-size sleeves are either too long, extending to mid thumb or they make a silly looking blouse at the wrist. In this regard, this is an ideal shirt. As for the no iron claim, it falls a tad short. When removed from the dryer, the shirt is still too wrinkled to be worn, but it touches up very easily with a warm iron in no time. So far I have three of these shirts and intend to order more. Great fit. Looks awesome. Shirt fits well and looks good. Fabric is high quality. Washed/dried twice and so far no wrinkles. April 14, 2013
