Great fit for athletic men
I love the fit of this shirt. I have a hard time finding shirts that fit my shoulders and chest, but do not have too much material in the torso. The XL has the shoulders and the chest of a XL, but the torso fits more like a large. A perfect fit for a person with bigger shoulders than belly.

very good shirt at an excellent value
The tailored fit is excellent. Although the fabric is treated to resist stains, wrinkles, etc, it is very comfortable and doesn't feel treated at all. The fabric has a nice 'spongy' quality unlike the slim fit polos from one of the competitors which feel very stiff. Just wish they offered this shirt in more colors.

Excellent quality semi-slim fit casual mesh polo
I've been buying these for years and they are excellent. The fabric is a nice medium weight, and the quality and construction are very good. Now, some details about the fit: These are tailored fit only for a man who has some muscles, but a normal fit for a man who is slim and trim. For example, I'm 5' 11' and 164 pounds, fit but not muscle bound, and the medium fits me perfectly. If you're 6' and a muscular 175 or 180, then get the large. The only thing I don't like about these shirts is the longer tail in the back, which is a useless feature, as the length is plenty long and won't pull out of your shirt. I always take these to my tailor and have them shortened 1 1/2 inch and the back leveled with the front, so I can wear the shirt either tucked in, or left out for a more casual look. That's an expense, but the shirt is already bargain priced, so it's worth it. For men who want a more modern slim fit, choose the Canvas line of pique polo, which a tighter fit than these and also have a little shorter sleeve (more in line with current fashion). Keep in mind that a medium in the Canvas pique polo will be slightly smaller than a medium in the tailored fit mesh polo. For men who are overweight, or prefer a loose fitting shirt, go for the traditional fit. Incidentally, these wash up just fine -- warm wash, warm dry -- but you can keep them looking new by dry cleaning. In any case, you can't go wrong with these, except that I wish Lands' End offered more colors, or more hip colors. Right now, the Canvas line has better colors. Hope this helps.

Great polo
Bought some of these for my husband. Very nice quality and flattering fit. I think they run a little on the small size. If you are between sizes, I recommend you order up one size.
