Description

For the purist — and a remarkable value.

  • Pure cotton Pinpoint Oxford cloth
  • 80s two-ply cotton yarns
  • Classic buttondown collar has a soft roll built in
  • Mitered, split yoke allows extra give across the shoulders
  • Buttons made from the same resin used in bowling balls
  • Tailored fit: closer to the body for a neater look

Ultra-smooth, 80s, two-ply, untreated cotton loves an iron, sure, but it’s breathable, too. Tailoring details include a mitered, split back yoke, box pleat and locker loop. Single-button barrel cuffs, single button gauntlet. And the buttondown collar has a soft roll, so it fits over a tie better. We even added a few extra buttons under the lower placket, should you need one (you most likely won’t). Machine wash. Imported.

Perfect for guys that send shirts to the laundry If you send dress shirts to the cleaners, this is all you need. Great fit and great price April 28, 2013
This shirt is too much trouble This shirt wrinkles very easily and requires far more ironing than most shirts you can buy. In addition, they give off a strange sheen under light, are relatively thin, and are not as slim as it could be. May 28, 2013
The fabric to the touch indicates quality and is enhanced when starched. The fit is precise, because I asked for guidance from Land's End with me providing the data needed for a recommendation, that proved to be a precision fit. May 28, 2013
The Fabric Is Thin ! I bought two blue and two white. I was really excited to see Lands End offering new dress shirts that were NOT no-iron. However,...the "good old days of Lands End" seem to be gone. The material is very thin and flimsy. Not at all like the Lands End shirts of yesterday. I've sent these shirts to the cleaners twice asking for heavy starch,...but these shirts don't seem to take it. They come back lacking the crisp feel that I want. I have other L/E shirts that take starch just fine, but these don't. I do like your tailored fit,...it's good for me. This is probably the single biggest reason I keep buying shirts from you. I'm not returning them,.....but, I Certainly Will Not Reorder. May 15, 2013
Thin fabric, poor quality If you're looking for a good, all-around dress shirt that will hold up and last a while, look elsewhere. This shirt looks and feels cheap. The fabric is incredibly thin and it wrinkles very easily. As with most Lands End shirts, the size and fit were great. But the overall quality of this piece is flat-out terrible. Save your money and buy a nicer shirt that will hold up and be better in the long run. April 30, 2013
Poor Quality - Not the Shirts of Lands' End Gone By Poor quality throughout the shirt. The shirt was cheap looking from the feel of the material to the overall appearance. April 27, 2013
wrinkles very easy fit is excellent however the shirt wrinkles very easy by middle of the day looks like you slept in it returning it April 15, 2013
Amazing shirt I LOVE this shirt. The shirt is a thick cotton with a satiny feel. IIt's the nicest-made shirt I've found anywhere in a really long time. The yellow is a gorgeous color--not pale or washed out and just bright enough. I'm so happy that Lands makes some men's shirts without all the chemicals used for no-iron, stain-resistant, etc. This shirt is just a soft natural cotton that I am sure feels great to wear. I bought two for my 20 year old son, and it looks perfect on him. He is athletically built--muscular and in shape, and the tailored fit is just what he needs. Ironing it is even a pleasure. It is thick enough to hold the press and looks expensive and classy. Please don't EVER stop making this shirt Lands End!...and more colors would be nice--maybe a nice blue and soft green in the same brightness as the yellow. March 2, 2013
