Description

The No Iron Pinpoint takes a quantum leap in silkiness.

  • Made with Supima, America’s finest cotton for exceptional smoothness
  • No Iron Pinpoint fabric looks pressed all day
  • Classic Buttondown Collar
  • Classic dress-shirt tailoring
  • Perfect fit: your exact neck and sleeve sizes
  • Tailored Fit: compared to Traditional Fit, it is 1½″ smaller in the chest and 2 3/4″ smaller in the waist, with proportioned cuffs, collar

Want a dressier shirt? Start with better fiber. This No Iron Pinpoint is pure Supima® cotton — the top 3% of the U.S. cotton crop. This yarn has the same ultra-fine “80s” width as the previous shirt, but now, with fewer fiber “ends” thanks to Supima’s exceptional length, it’s smoother and stronger than ever.

Along with the No Iron finish that keeps the shirt looking just-pressed all day, we build in a couple of additional features. First, wicking, to increase your comfort on muggy days. And stain release to keep the shirt looking new longer. The closest Supima shirt we find on the market today doesn’t have these last two features. But does cost nearly 50% more. 100% Supima cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Superb quality and comfort. I purchased two of these shirts and have been extremely happy with them. The material, stitching, color and sizing were perfect. I was a little worried buying shirts online without seeing them in person, but when they arrived, I was thrilled that they looked exactly as they appeared on the website. I have received gifts from Land's End over the years and have made a few purchases myself. I will definitely be buying more of these shirts and using Land's End as my go to for clothes and gift ideas. April 28, 2013
This shirt is quality and a nice fit for my height -6'4" Normally, I don't like fitted shirts but this is a nice fit - not binding - and it is good quality. I like it and would purchase another when needed. April 27, 2013
Always Good! LE. Shirts are the only shirts that seem to work for my husband. We are happy they offer the shirts in a trim fit. He has had many LE. Shirts through the years, they hold up well and do not look worn out before their time. I always try to get a few on the sales and they are worth the price even not on sale. I'm enjoying the more modern pattern and stripes that LE has been offering. April 27, 2013
Great shirt but scratchy fabric First, I love Lands End shirts especially because of their Tailored Fit and I have been wearing them for close to 20 years. I keep adding to my wardrobe over time so I ordered one of these Supima shirts in the Classic Navy Thin Stripe. The tailoring is immaculate but the fabric certainly is not soft. Even after laundering the fabric is still scratchy. It not possible to wear the shirt for a full day unless I have a tee shirt on underneath. Althought the fabric looks and feels very smooth since it is a tight weave it certainly is not comfortable. Since all the patterns may be from different lots of fabric this review only applies specifically to the Classic Navy Thin Stripe pattern / fabric. I am sorry that Lands End let this slip through. Really like this shirt! I purchased this shirt for my husband, and love the fabric and the way it fits him. Also, it looked great right out of the dryer! January 7, 2013
Better than described - very satisfied! Material, fit, colors and size are all exactly as I had hoped for. Recommend highly to others. January 5, 2013
This shirt is everything my husband expected! I ordered this shirt for my husband and for my son. I washed and dried my husband's shirt for the first time last night, after giving it to him for Christmas. He just discovered it hanging in his closet and asked if I had ironed it. When I told him it was straight out of the dryer, he was so pleased with the appearance. He is very particular about his shirts, usually sending them to the laundry, so saying he thought the no-iron finish was great is saying alot! I had to reorder my son's shirt because the sleeve length was too short ............my mistake in size. January 5, 2013
Great shirt. Easy to press and wears much better than the Brooks Bros my husband has been wearing. This shirt is easy to care for--I always press them but quick to do. My husband has always worn Brooks Bros shirts and these wear much better and stay looking good all day. December 9, 2012
love it like it very much December 9, 2012
A differing definition of Tailored. I have been wearing LE dress shirts for about 20 years. I am a trim guy, so I have really appreciated the trim, tailored styles of the past few years. However, LE dress shirts are only tailored in the chest, NOT in the sleeves. For trim guys, this ends up with a shirt that looks out of proportion. You would think a tailored dress shirt would have adjustable button cuffs, wouldn't you? You would think that the sleeves would not be big, but tailored, wouldn't you? Sigh! For some reason, LE dress shirts do not. I called customer service to inquire. I figured this year's model had been improved over last years. The customer service rep quickly knew the answer, and lamented with me as to the situation. I've steered my gift-giving family to ordering LE shirts in size Small, since those shirts really are tailored in the body and arms, too. I hope somebody from customer service reads this, 'cause it really does not make sense. And, by the way, they can send me a gift card for a free shirt, after they make the change. Merry Christmas to all! November 25, 2012
