Description

From Irelands’s linen experts.

  • Breathable, pure-linen fabric by Baird McNutt
  • Classic dress-shirt tailoring
  • Buttondown collar
  • Perfect fit: your exact neck and sleeve sizes
  • Tailored Fit: trim, for a cleaner look

Prized for its cool elegance since the days of the Pharaohs, linen must be created with great care to bring out its natural beauty. Flax — the fiber from which linen is woven — can’t be rushed, or it becomes coarse or brittle. And then couldn’t be spun and woven into this soft, silky fabric.

Since the 13th century, the finest linen has been made in Ireland, and this fabric is from Baird McNutt, Ireland’s foremost linen mill. Their 100 years of experience and reputation for quality are unrivaled. And it shows in the fine quality of this shirt. 100% linen. Machine wash. Imported.

Fit & Size Information

Men's Tailored Fit Irish Linen Shirt 2 5 1 1
George Costanza plaid The fabric was nice, tailored fit was loose, but nice shape. Catalog image is far more true then online images. The blue plaid is periwinkle white and black. The pattern is plain and conservative, but the drape looks casual to frumpy - a bit to Costanza for my taste. July 21, 2012
