My Husband Loves This Shirt
My husband loves these best of all the different LE shirts I have bought him. In fact I am here buying more. He likes the fact that the buttons come up higher so you can't see as much of his tee shirt underneath. He wears tham golfing as well and says they are comfy and breathe well. Plus they are soft and wash well too.

Excellent fit and fabric
The quality of the cotton is excellent. The colours are true to what was online. Very pleased with this product.

Bad collar design makes the shirt unwearable
I've purchased many of these shirts in the past and have always loved them. No longer - the latest redesign of the collar and button layout has literally made the shirt unwearable. The collar "floats up" and does not lay flat, and the multi-layer of fabric below the collar surrounding the neck makes the entire area of the shirt look crooked and off balance. I won't be buying any more sadly until the design is changed again. Please bring back the old style!!

I am returning the shirts
I ordered two more of the shirt that I have found to be perfect for me in the past. I did not bother to read the reviews because I assumed the shirt would be the same one that I have enjoyed for years. Wrong. The new collar design is NOT an improvement and for some unknown reason the shirt now has a tag in the back (which is a retro move, for sure.) The fit is different and the tail is about an inch longer than before (unfortunate for me since I had previously been able to wear this one with the tail out without looking goofy, but now the tail is too long for that.) Messing with the good original design of this shirt was a bad idea all the way around. I do hope you can bring back the original.

The collar is terrible.
I have been buying this shirt for about ten years. If this year's model shirt were a car it would be called EDSEL or AZTEK.

It was what I expected
I bought the pima polos as opposed to the mesh as the colours were better. I prefer the pastels.
I am quite happy with them although I prefer the mesh.
The self neck band is comfortable but a self collar would be better than the ribbed collar as well as having hemmed sleeves in the non pocket version.

Awful collar!
This used to be my favorite shirt, and I've purchased dozens of them during the past ten years. However, the new collar is just awful, and I will be returning the three shirts I just purchased. It is apparent from these reviews that many of us loyal customers are dissatisfied, so I hope that Land's End values our business and goes back to the original collar.

New collar style is awful
My husband loved these polo's. Past tense. Loved. The new style is awful. The description says that you "reworked the collar." Well, the new collar is not an improvement. It no longer lays flat. It puffs out. The new neckline is too high. It isn't mentioned in the description, but you've also "reworked" the entire shirt. The chest measurement is about an inch smaller than before. The short sleeve is 1 1/2 inches shorter than before and is also narrower than before. The whole look of the shirt has changed and NOT for the better. Please bring back the original style with the original collar and original measurements. My husband also reports that the tag on the back of the neck is annoying and scratchy.

Not an improvement.
Interesting to read the comments! Thought it was me, but I see that I am not alone . The redesign is not an improvement . I have been buying and liking very much this shirt but my latest purchases are a disappointment. Is this really the result of a redesign or a change of manufacturer?
