Great undershirt but pills and seems fragile
It feels great under a shirt. It doesn't bunch up or add bulk under polos or dress shirts, so it's a great undershirt. However, it couldn't possibly be worn on its own as a t-shirt. After just a few washes, the black silk shirt is covered in white "pills" that are very noticeable. I read other customers' reviews and they said the same thing, but some also said that the non-black shirt doesn't have these issues.

Superb comfort and fit (large = 6'2", 185lbs)
Light and warm, doesn't bunch up; ideal for fall golf and cold weather activities.

My second silk top
This is my second silk top I bought at Lands End, the first one was with long sleeves. I was a bit mislead by description and other reviews, I thought it's a kind of thermal underwear for cold weather. Well, I bought it, I wear it, I washed it. I do not think it keeps more warm than ordinary cotton shirt. But it has some really cool benefits. Its lightweight and takes very little place - in a a traveler's bag or in a dresser. It feels like a second skin, very soft and cool. Your ordinary cotton T-shirt may become wet by the end of the day - this will never happens with this silk shirt. And it will stay odour-free by the end of the day too. And, I tested, by the end of the second day. And last, though it might seem not important. I washed it in a washing machine with cotton shirt on a Cotton cycle and it was not somehow damaged the top. I have just a couple of silk items so it is comfortable to wash it with cotton rather then run big machine and waste water and electricity on special Silk cycle for just two tops.

The shirt is very comfortable.
I bought the shirts for my husband and he said the fit is fine. The shirt doesn't stick to his outer shirts or to him. They're great for travel because they don't take up as much room in a suitcase as a regular Tshirt.

Husband Loves them but...
My husband heats up when he sleeps. Silk is a natural fabric and cools or warms the body. I purchased the black and blue shirts for sleep wear. I washed both the blue and black in a bag on the delicate setting and hung to dry. The first wash was great but the black pills. I washed the black one again, same thing. I used the De-fuzzer (?) and the fabric was easily caught even though I held the fabric tight on ironing board. Had to throw it out. Purchased a second black one, same thing. The blue is just fine, washes great and no piling but the black one is questionable. The sizing is a bit on the small side. He likes large baggy shirts to sleep in and this does fit small for the size. He loves them and he does not sweat at all when he wears these for sleep shirts. Will order another blue but staying away from the black.

Great for added warmth
This was a gift for my husband. It has a great fit and is excellent under shirts and sweaters as an extra layer for warmth. Packs into a tiny space, can be washed and dried overnight if needed, just an excellent travel top.
