another disappointment from LE
We bought this shirt for my husband to have a lightweight summer shirt to wear on our cruise. It looked nice when he first tried it on. Then I washed it (according to the instructions). When he put it on again, it had shrunk up at least an inch in the length. He was not planning to wear it tucked in, but now he couldn't even if he wanted to! Just beware. I'm really just about through with LE. This is just another in a long line of disappointing purchases.

More ironing than I expected
I have purchased other seersucker shirts that come out of the dryer better than this one does. To 'flatten' the material a bit it needs some ironing. I take it out of the dryer early and try pulling the shirt into shape, but it still needs help. Otherwise, the color and fit are great. My husband usually takes an x-lg but in LE tall shirts he takes a large. He is 6'2" and weighs 200 lbs. I only buy him the tall shirts now as they stay tucked in so much better than regulars on him!

Disappointing
I ordered one of these in green and another in blue. They arrived yesterday. They are not at all like the other Lands End seersucker shirt my husband has had for the past few years, which is his favorite summer shirt. This is an inferior fabric, not very seersucker-y, if you will.

It looks nice,washed nice, and ironed nice but I haven't worn the shirt yet!!!
Haven't wore the shirt yet!!!

Nice summer shirt
Good for hot weather -- not as cool as the madras line of shirts, but quite nice. Loose fit, but true to size.

A nice-looking summer-weight shirt!
Got this shirt for my hubby, as he has a partially out-of-office job, and needs shirts that are lightweight and breathable during the summer. This shirt does the trick, and looks good doing it! He likes it very much. All in all, a good purchase, especially on sale!

Poor Quality
"The woven-in crinkles do more than give the fabric its characteristic crispness"...There is NO characteristic crispness, just the opposite, the shirts look like they just came out of the spin cycle, creased and looking like they could use a good ironing...which seersucker is not supposed to need. This is not a typical seersucker shirt...you will be disappointed if you buy this shirt.

Plaid Seersucker Shirt
Bought this for my husband in the navy/red plaid pattern. He likes the shirt and it fts well. (Ordered an extra-large -- based on reviews saying it ran a bit small.) Only negative comment would be that the fabric doesn't have as much "pucker" as is usually found in seersucker fabrics.

Great shirt, runs small
Great quality and fabric. The fit was tight though on my dad. He always wears a men's large, and this one was tighter across the belly.
