Description

The polo with flair, not flamboyance.

  • Woven trim for a sportier look
  • Breathable mesh knit body fabric
  • Fights pilling, fading, wrinkles, shrinkage
  • Convenient chest pocket
  • Reinforced shoulder seams
  • Neat tree-top side vents

Is it even possible to add another feature to one of the best-featured mesh knit shirts in America? The answer is yes, and the sporty woven trim on this polo proves it. Depending on the shirt color you choose, you’ll find a solid Oxford cloth collar and trim, striped seersucker collar and trim or printed poplin trim. As for the body fabric, we’re pleased to report it resists pilling, fading, wrinkles and shrinkage, same as our standard mesh knit polo. Other features include reinforced shoulder seams, strong-crossed stitched buttons, side vents, chest pocket and nicely finished front placket. Machine wash. 100% cotton. Imported.

Fisheye buttons: A deal-breaker once again... Great contrasting collar color combinations, but it's a shame to see a major cost-cutting measure continue through the last few seasons appear here again: the ole' Fisheye. Fisheye, or "two-hole", buttons are cheaper, and require less thread to attach to clothing. As such, they also don't last as long, and won't outlive the fabric they are stitched to (unlike standard buttons). They are also harder to button with one hand, since they only pivot in half as many directions as a standard button. Lands' End, PLEASE stop using these. They have been the sole flaw on some items that I would have purchased otherwise. May 18, 2013
