Description

Warm Merino wool teams up with soft cotton.

  • Henley styling makes a statement
  • Soft, durable Merino wool/cotton/nylon blend
  • Rib knit cuffs and bottom
  • Set-in sleeves for a crisp, clean look
  • Full-fashioning ensures a better fit

When we set out to build a better sweater, we started with fine Merino wool, long prized for its lightweight warmth and amazing softness. We blended it with equal parts of combed cotton (for breathability) and nylon (for durability). Then we fully fashioned the sweater — knitting the components to size, then sewing them together — for a better fit. The result is a substantial sweater that's truly warm, soft on your skin, and stands up better to wear and tear — holds its shape too, wearing after wearing. 50% Merino wool/25% cotton/25% nylon. Dry clean. Imported.

Hefty Good Sweater Can't believe this sweater is still hanging around. I bought the brown in xxl so I could layer. Actually my normal xl would probably have done the job. This sweater became one of my two go to sweaters. It was in the single digits when I got it in January. The blend was great for keeping the shape. You could throw it in the back seat & (treat it rough) & it still looked good , did not pill, & did not stretch out of shape. I wore it over dress shirt & tie with a sportcoat. I also wore it with chinos & blue jeans. I would get the blue if I did not already have the color in a crew neck. Buy it & stick it in your closet til next winter when it really gets cold. You will be glad you did. . April 18, 2013
Looks great alone or with a jacket or under a large, bulky button up sweater This lightweight merino wool sweater in looks great alone or with a jacket or under a large, bulky button up sweater. While the merino wool isn't smooth or soft the gray band at the neck is soft so that it's nice and comfy around the neck. I'm a medium. I ordered a medium. It's a perfect fit. October 2, 2012
a very average look-wraps around your body a little weirdly. Warm, light but slightly coarse to the skin When it arrived, I was slightly disappointed with its average texture and color. The colors in the model picture is obviously enhanced in the studio light, but this is one of the lame looking ones in the day light or under the average home or work lighting. And, although it is very flexible, stretchy, I wouldn't call it soft for a merino or merino mix. Slightly coarse to your neck and wrists. It is warm, maybe too warm to even try it on. Definitely good for the colder time of the winter. but nothing really pops in your eyes, the button detail looks cheap, the ocean blue color is dull, the shape is slightly squared. A dull bargain item. Compulsory choice for "recommendation or not." So, I chose recommended, but it is nothing special. My verdict is meh~. June 25, 2012
