Love these pants
My husband has been buying these for years and loves them. They are durable and always fit the same (he gets "relaxed fit" so they are intended to be a bit loose in the thighs, and they are.) We tried buying name-brand jeans locally and the size was way off, that never happens with these Land's End jeans.

Fit way too small. Returning
I wear regular/traditional fit dress slacks and the same size relaxed fit jeans did not fit over my thighs so I will be returning. Otherwise they look good

Rise too short, waist too large
This is the second pair of jeans, after a traditional cut, that I've ordered. The traditional cut's rise was WAAY too short. This relaxed cut pair's rise was too short too, and the waist was about 1/2 inch too large (I'm a 33'). Both pair being returned. Guess LE has succumbed to being devoted to women's clothing after being acquired by Sears.

Comfortable & looks great!
I find this relaxed fit makes a difference (more comfortable than standard fit), but still looks nice. I also tried the elastic waste variety, and definitely prefer this (the relaxed fit). For all pants at Land's End, I really appreciate the ability to order custom lengths.

colors not right
I ordered two pair of jeans with different shades (light blue vintage and washed vintage indigo). I had wanted one of the jeans to be a more washed out blue (which I had previously received from Land's End). What I received were two pair of jeans with colors that were so similar even the salesperson could not tell the difference when I retured them to Sears, They were also darker than was pictured on the web site. I have bought only Land's End jeans for years, now I do not know what I will do since the dye is now darker. I am disappointed because Lands End jeans fit great and wear extremnly well.

Shrinkage
We purchased two pair in a Sear's store and the shrinkage after one wash ( on cold, low heat) made them unwearable. I had thrown away the receipt so could not return them.. They are now in the charity box.
Not only did they both shrink but not the same amount. Maybe we just got a bad batch. I see they get good reviews. Strange. Next time I will save my receipt.

Loving Lands End
I have only recently started purchasing clothing from Lands End and so far I am very impressed. The quality of these jeans, as well as all their clothing, is excellent. These have quickly become my favorite jeans to wear. The fit seems right on, and the material is great quality. Durability is a bit unknown right now as I have only had these jeans a few months, but after several washes I have no reason to expect any issues. Relaxed fit allows for more room in the leg/thigh which is nice.
These are a bit pricier than I have paid for jeans in a department store (Kohls, JCP) but the quality more than makes up for the slightly higher price tag. And if you get them with a 25 or 30% discount...all the better.

High Quality jean
I have bought these jeans for my husband for years and the quality seems to keep improving! The denim is heavy enough for work , but is made so nicely they look great going out to dinner.

These jeans are too short in the rise.
I have bought many pairs of these relaxed fit jeans over the years. The extra long rise used to prevent pressure on the lower back when bending down. I was very disappointed with my latest purchase. The material is much lighter in weight than it used to be and 2 inches have been lost in the rise. They are a poor fit, low quality and I wouldn't recommend them.

Inconsistant sizing
I have many pairs of the same size relaxed fit 5 pocket jeans and every one of them seems to be cut differently. Two pairs my hands slide right into the front pockets, another pair or two and I have to squeeze them in to get my car keys. Still another pair is looser on the waist while another sits higher in the back and has a baggy seat. I jsut order two more this week and the crotch/seat seemed to be a few inches shorter and I had no room for the boys. I like the jeans when I get a good pair, but I do return 3 for every 1 I keep. Thankfully there is a Sears close by and I am not wasting money shipping them back.
