No stopping winter, but you may not notice it if you're wearing these substantial cords, which are also some of the softest we've found. (And ready to get softer with each wash.) Unlike many others, ours are 100% cotton: firmly anchoring the wales with a W-weave (which threads yarns through the fabric twice) stops "balding" — spots where the pile works loose. That won't happen to these - and they don't need polyester or nylon to achieve this durability. The make is old-school all the way: shape-keeping Ban-Rol®, two-piece curtained waist (with the V-notch in back — signature of a refined alterable waist), integrated French fly, crotch shield, and more. Machine wash. Imported.
