Great work pants for active wear!
These continue to be great work pants for active days; they look nice and remain flexible.

Neat and easy care
My husband is a high school science teacher and he wears these slacks to school almost every day. Thet're comfortable, easy to wash and dry and still have a neat appearance.

O.K.
I recently purchased two pairs of the Chino pants because they are still available in a 37' waist and the dress twills are not. I like the dress twills better for two reasons - the chinos fabric is heavier (not good in the summer) and the thigh area is tighter (not as comfortable). I always buy the pleated version in pants because I usually have things in my pockets but there doesn't seem to be enough room in the chinos. Overall I would give these pants an average rating.

Can't recommend
I have been purchasing no iron chinos for over 10 years, this was my first from Lands End. First, they need ironing, they don't come out of the dryer ready to wear (like no iron pants from other on line companies)and second they also are cut very slim. I ordered the traditional fit, but they were not comfortable to wear to wear everyday. They are made very well, the construction and the materials= seem top quality, I just don't like the cut and the material is not "no iron".
I donated them to Goodwill.

Good replacement for overpriced twill no-iron
I used to be a loyal no-iron twill customer until Lands' End cheapened the build and changed the fit. I see they are trying to win customers back to that product, but in the meantime I've come back from the local department store to try these chinos and found a new preference for my casual slack purchase. (Besides, the Lands' End twills, never inexpensive, are way overpriced.)
These are great slacks, crisp out of the drier, nice fit with my long waist, and a solid value when on sale. Just wish they offered more than three colors in the long waist sizes. Good job Lands' End, just don't fall to the temptation to go cheapo on these too.

different compared to past purchases
The fit is different. Old pairs came from China and Vietnam...these new ones from Bangladesh do not fit well. They seem very baggy in the seat and front. And the length that I ordered was not correct (I measured it...was off by nearly 1 inch). Oddly enough, the ones that are in-store are still from China, and fit well (but only come in pre-made lengths and are full price). Unfortunately this long time customer will be looking elsewhere for pants in the future.

Not exactly "No Iron"
The first time I washed these I was expecting a nice smooth no-iron finish. But when taking them out of the dryer they were wrinkled and did not retain their creases like other "No Iron" pants. I feel that the price is too high for these 100% cotton pants that wash like 100% cotton pants. The blurb says they have exclusive No Iron Treatment but I do not see it.

Tall Doesnt mean I am large
Ordered a size 40 and it was too big, so I exchanged it for a size 38 and it is too small. around the waist. So I looked to see if i could order a comfort waist in a tall size 38. Guess what? Lands End thinks if you are tall your must also be big around! Nope can't get a tall size in a comfort waist size of 38. Come on Lands End, not all of us are sucking down beer and sodas!
