Tall Doesnt mean I am large
Ordered a size 40 and it was too big, so I exchanged it for a size 38 and it is too small. around the waist. So I looked to see if i could order a comfort waist in a tall size 38. Guess what? Lands End thinks if you are tall your must also be big around! Nope can't get a tall size in a comfort waist size of 38. Come on Lands End, not all of us are sucking down beer and sodas!

What happened to the quality of the long rise pants LE use to sell??????
I use to love these pants, they were the best fit on the market hands down to the competition. Recently i ordered a pair of khaki colored and navy pant in long rise. When they showed up from UPS, they were not long rise, I tried them on and I could tell right away they were too short in the crotch area and the front of the pant felt tight. So I re-ordered another pair to see if it was just a "fluke" and to my surprise the replacement khakis were also not long rise pants as the garment tag inside specified "36 Long" and shipping doc's indicated. Also, the Navy pant was faded out when I got them. These will all be going back...... Not sure who the supplier was that made these but the buyers at LE made a huge mistake using them..

Faded Navy is too light - bring back "True Navy"
I bought these in faded Navy (hoping it would be close to true navy) and my husband flat out rejected them and said they were too light in color - they are not really navy at all but a dark slate type color. Where has "True Navy" gone? These are my husband's go-to daily work pant. We must own 10-12 pairs of them. He did not even bother to try them on.

Thank you for bringing back long-rise version.
LE - thanks for bringing back long-rise version. Fit and finish were good, and the rise was just long enough. I'm ordering some more of these. I see faded navy color in long-rise, but not regular navy. Wish you would offer them in regular navy as well.

Definitely not No Iron
I bought these pants on the claim of wash and wear, no-iron. I am always prompt to remove clothes from the dryer as soon as it finishes. The first time I washed these pants they looked like I'd left them wadded up in a ball for a week. An attempt to iron them only moderately improved the appearance. I'm taking them to a professional cleaner to see if the can get them looking better, but now I'm paying $8 each time.

Lasted less than a year - around 8 months
I will state up front that ride my bike to work every day and it is rough on pants, they usually wear out in the crotch. These pants did not make it a year and they wore out in the leg/seat (where my thigh rubs the bike seat), much sooner than any other pant I have owned.

Neat and easy care
My husband is a high school science teacher and he wears these slacks to school almost every day. Thet're comfortable, easy to wash and dry and still have a neat appearance.

Okay
Since you do not make your higher quality trousers in brown anymore, I was stuck buying these lower quality chinos.

Not available for the tall man and waist to crotch length is too short.
Land's end no longer offers much choice in Chino's for the tall man and if you are tall and looking for a pleated pant, stay away from these.
