I like them! I've worn khakis from other brands, including RL and Bill's, and I can tell you that the quality of these khakis from LE are quite good. Also, and this is a personal thing, but I think khakis should NOT be wrinkle free, they look far too smooth and artificial. I know they are advertised as such and some have complained, but happily they are not after a few washes. The intention of wearing khakis (or even jeans) ?especially with an oxford shirt or polo? is a clean, laid-back look. If you want wrinkle-free, go for dress slacks. Regarding the look, the traditional cut is full, and which I consider a "classic look". For the price, these are great for weekends and kicking around. Nice job LE. March 6, 2013
Not wrinkle free I ordered these because of the variety of waist sizes and lengths. The waist size and length were as ordered and the pants fit great. The reason for only 3 stars is that the pants are definitely not wrinkle free. When washed they come out of the dryer with as many wrinkles as regular cotton material. It is distressing that Lands End would advertise these as "no iron" when they are not. It's is confirmed by many other reviewers. The description should be changed so that the purchaser knows exactly what they are buying. October 28, 2012
Disappointed with lighter colored slacks I bought four pair of these-- two for my son and two for my husband. The lighter colored slacks in tan and stone were not wrinkle free out of the dryer. They were taken out of the dryer right when finished. Very wrinkly. That has never happened before with their pants. It has happened each time. Then my sons khaki ones shrunk some. Those were very wrinkly. I am not being too picky about this either. I generally still touch up wrinkle free with iron, but these were just too much. I am hesitant to order again. Although I have ordered them for years. The dark ones are not as bad, but need to touch up with iron. Maybe you will have better luck, just wanted to share . May 31, 2013
Solid pants These are my standard pants. They hold up well to everyday wear and tear and look good while doing it. Have not had to iron once over many, many wears. The issues I have are small change in qualities over the years. Some good and some not. Wear points, for me are on the bottom of the pants where they become frayed at the fold. First place where they look bad, but after a few months on pretty much every pair. The second place is at the pocket seams on the side of the front. Not on all pants but some. Have not noticed this on other pants from Lands ends or other companies. However, I always come back to them as I but them on sale, and it is a great price for how they look for how long they look. Just wish I could get more life out of them as they are fine is all other aspects of the pants. May 30, 2013
Need to bring back Long Rise. Pants are cut a little tighter than normal for a 36". Was unable to get cuffs since LE doesn't carry long rise sizes. Thanks to Sears buyout quality and choices have declined sad. The material was decient quality and the price was right. May 29, 2013
Good Quality I use for casual wear when jeans may not be appropriate or when I want a lighter feel. Quality is good. Feel true to size. Custom hemming was free & cut to correct size. Seem to wash well & hold their crease. Comfortable. May 29, 2013
Disappointed After buying 4 pairs of chinos in-store, I took advantage of an on-line sale to buy 2 pairs of these pants. There is a gulf in quality between the chinos bought in-store and these (despite being priced comparably). These pants use a very thin fabric and have a flimsy feel to them. The fit isn't terrible, but they do run a little tighter than the other Land's End chinos I bought. May 28, 2013
Very nice fabric. A very good looking pair of pants! May 28, 2013
Very poor quality - horrible fabric I have been shopping with Lands End for over 20 years and have been very happy with most of my purchases. These chinos are made with very poor fabric. They are supposed to be "no iron" but in fact they can't be ironed. After the 1st washing they came out of the dryer horribly wrinkled and the crease had already dissappeared. After working hard with a steam iron i finally gave up trying to make them presentable to wear. Worst pants i have ever bought from Lands End. What happened to the quality that i have come to expect? May 21, 2013
You've changed the formula for the worst. I've been buying these pants for many years now - always the same style, fit, type. I've loved them. I pick my color, put in my order, and they're always perfect....until now. You have changed your flagship product into rubbish! How could you? Even though I order the same cut, the new tailoring is awful. The pants bind, don't crease right, don't bend right, don't fall right. The prior fabric was dense and crisp and durable, yet smooth and smart. The new stuff is just dreadful - thin and unyielding with a desire to bend where it cares to, not with the wearer. I'm sorry to say, but I'm done here unless you go back to the good stuff. It makes me sad to lose a quality, reliable product. May 14, 2013
