Great trousers
These fit my husband perfectly and he is very pleased. Slimmer in legs so they don't overwhelm as some "relaxed" fit pants can. A quick touch up with an iron after washing and they are good to go.

Prepare to have people comment on your pants
I ordered the 33 waist 35 length pants, tailored fit, one pair of the red, one of the soapstone. They were perfect at the waist but the tailored fit does hug the seat and upper thighs quite a bit. I know guys lose their butt after about age 40 and if that description fits you, the tailored fit will be fine. If you have a little boo-tay left on you, these are still great pants but the fit may be a little more snug and/or revlealing than you bargained for - people will comment on how 'nice' the pants are and so on. I think the soapstone is a beautiful color but of course the red is the one people will comment on if you wear them to, say, the office

Seem a little small
These seem to be cut slightly smaller than normal Land's End pants. I hope they don't shrink.

Pockets don't lay flat
You can kind of see it in the picture, but it's even more obvious and pronounced in person. The side pockets are placed on the seam in such a way that they bulge out. They don't lie flat, which kind of ruins the whole point of the tailored / plain front look. We really wanted to like these because of the no-iron and because you can choose your inseam length, but we ended up returning them. Too bad. Maybe next year they will change it a little so that the pockets lie flat. My husband ended up going with another brand instead.

Great Fit!
This pant is a great fit - tailored to be trim on the body and leg, and is! The no-iron factor was insisted by my wife, who ordered them for me and it passes the test with flying colors (I wish there were more colors offered!) I will order them again. Art

Fabric is not soft, wrinkles after one wearing
Pants look like I slept in them after one wearing. Fabric is rough, not like previous Twill Trousers that felt smooth. Also, they are noisy when walking !

WHY?????????????????
I am ready to give up on Lands' End after 30 years of shopping here. I have a number of pairs of the old twill pants--seven I think--because they were just perfect. While waiting for the last version to go away I tried a pair from that other well known competitor. They were just what I expected: too tight in the waist, baggy, and an inch too long. In desperation I crossed my fingers and tried the last model of Lands' End twill pants. They arrived : also baggy and two inches too long. (I'll have them altered.) I was very pleased when the new model appeared (which promised a return to the old style and I ordered them immediately). They arrived. They fit fine. Success!! I was ready to order three more pair just like them. Then I washed them. The seams have all puckered, they have no crease at all, and they are so wrinkled they look like I slept in them. This is "right out of the dryer." Why can't you just make the old pants, from the old materials? They were perfect as they were. I would gladly pay double just to get the old pants back.
