When your Comfort Waist Year'rounders® arrive, make a point of feeling the fabric. It's woven from 90s merino wool yarn — silky, with great drape, yet robust enough for unusual durability. And, in a weight carefully selected for comfort any day, any season. The tailoring is thoroughly classic, with every detail you've come to expect from Lands' End®. In addition to the tailoring above, we build in an integrated French Fly to keep the front flat, extra lining at the crotch and fly for comfort and durability, side pockets (with a coin catch on your right) and button-through back pockets.

And these Year'rounders® have our Comfort Waist, which stretches up to 3" on demand. Unlike most "hidden elastic" pants available – where the elastic is hidden as long as it isn't needed, then shows clearly – our design looks like a regular waistband, even fully extended. 100% worsted wool. Dry clean. Imported.

Bad fit Not only this particular product, but the fit of other slacks is poor. Something has happened to Lands' End quality control May 6, 2013
Nice light weight slacks that look good from the dryer. Fits well, decent quality. Wore to church and the rest of the day! April 30, 2013
Handsome dressy/casual look! My husband loves these slacks. They fit perfectly, let give a bit at the waist. They are hemmed perfectly to fit. They are dressy/casual - just perfect for dinner with friends. These pants go well with golf shirts or a blazer. I ordered three pair! April 27, 2013
WAY TOO SMALL !!! I have been buying these pants for many years and I love them. However, it appears that they have changed suppliers for this product and the SIZING IS TERRIBLE! I bought a pair just a few months ago in the waist size that I have been ordering for years and they fit perfectly. They were made in Mexico. I just ordered 3 more pair in the same waist size. The new ones are 1 and 1/2 to 2 inches too small in the waist. I have to stretch them nearly all the way out just to button the french fly. This causes the side pockets to want to open up and look like the pants are very ill tailored. The new pants are made in India so there is apparently some problem with the new supplier. Now that I look at other comments on these pants I see that this problem has been noted for several months and others seem to agree that it has to do with the change in sourcing. I am very disappointed that Land's End has not reacted to this problem and is shipping out product that they certainly know by now is not going to fit properly and will cause a great deal of inconvenience to customers. April 15, 2013
Not as good as they used to be... Lands End must have changed suppliers. These pants used to be fantastic but now the clasp sticks and the fly is too short (causing the obvious problem). I'm dissappointed that these are now just average at best. April 13, 2013
Ditto on the bad batch comment I ordered a light charcoal long rise with a 32 waist. There is no way this is a long rise. I used to love LE pants. I've seen other posts with this problem. I hope they aren't sending out returns of defective product. What a hassle/disappointment. April 4, 2013
Maybe a bad batch I ordered the long rise version but they were anything but. I apparently didn't get a long rise version because they're shorter than some regular ones I've had in the rotation for a number of months and aren't like the pleated ones I have, which are very comfortable. I'm going to be returning these at my earliest opportunity and hopefully not have the same thing happen with the next pair. Not sure why these were labeled long rise because that wasn't my experience. February 11, 2013
Change in quality I have purchased these pants in the past and fit great and wore great. I made a purchase last week 1/17 and the pants fit way to small and made in a different country now. For some reason sizing changed. January 20, 2013
These pants suck Fit small...in comparison I bought similar pants from Eddie Bauer website which offers much better quality and fit. I will not buy from Landsend again. January 6, 2013
The pants were nice The pants were made of good material. The pants were very nice but they do run small. January 5, 2013
