Surprisingly Inferior Product
Way too long (I am 6 feet tall).. Fabric way too thin. Looked like it was washed 50 times when taken out of the package. Loyal Lands End customer of 30+ years. First time I ever returned something due to poor quality.

Cheap material, oddly proportioned.
First of all, I really wanted to love these shorts. Finding pocket-less mesh shorts is harder and harder these days, and at their low price I wanted to be able to get many pairs of these. However, I was really disappointed when I got my first pair.
The "MESH" is practically a solid polyester -- not mesh in any of the ways other makers of athletic shorts do it, anyway. Tiny pinpoint holes in the fabric do not a mesh make. They're rough and abrasive, but incredibly thin, too.
Bigger issue, however, is the length of the shorts. They're way longer than necessary. I have basketball shorts from other makers that are shorter. The picture on the product page must be of someone over 6'4" tall. Those of us under that height have capris, not shorts. I was hoping for shorts that would work in the gym and for the odd run -- these are far too long for that. The waist and hips are trim and tailored, but the inseam is at least 3" too long in proportion.
I do not recommend this product!

Great price. Easy care.
At first glance I thought these might look a little too much like something suitable for the basketball court, not quite right for an 85-year-old gentleman. Though his basketball playing days are over, the shorts look just right for hot summer days. Cool on the skin. Wash and dry like a breeze with no ironing. Priced incredibly low. So good I've ordered him two more pair.

Terrific feel
I haven't ordered shorts like these before. Now that I have had a chance to wear them, I'm glad I ordered. Good fit - great feel - outstanding value.

The shorts are much longer and bigger than what I saw in the illustration.

No pockets
These shorts fit great and look good, but there is not a pocket for a key of handkerchief, so I returned them.

You better not need to carry a key.
The shorts fit fine, draped well, and were very comfortable. In an ideal world where no one had to carry keys with them they'd be fine. But, this is the real world, and if you intend to wear these shorts during any activity other than a sports competition, you're out of luck since there are no pockets: no side pockets, no outside pockets, no rear pocket. I know that the description never mentioned pockets, but come on! You could have at least put a little one of those tiny key pockets inside the waist. It's little details like this that make a product impractical.

Great for jogging.
I bought these shorts for my husband. They are light and comfortable and he is happy with them. He would recommend them for jogging.
