Description

The Supima-soft No Iron Oxford

  • Soft Supima cotton— America’s finest cotton
  • Always-smooth No Iron fabric
  • Classic dress-shirt tailoring
  • Perfect fit: your exact neck and sleeve sizes
  • Tailored Fit: trim, for a cleaner look

No Iron Oxford may be the best-made, longest-lasting No Iron shirt available. And now it’s one of the softest too, thanks to U.S.-grown Supima® cotton. We also sew gussets at the side seams for untucked wear, and — it’s subtle, but significant — two pleats on the sleeve (rather than the former three) for less blousiness. As always, the fabric stays smooth for 30 washes without the touch of an iron. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Loved this shirt. Bought this for my grown son, and it fits true to size. Beautiful color too, but alas, it does still need ironing. It needs a quick iron, and comes out beautiful! January 8, 2013
I always love these shirts! They always look great right out of the dryer...get you a closet full! Jim January 6, 2013
Fits as sized and the color is a beautiful french blue Quality is great, exactly what I expected from LandsEnd. Wear it to work at least once a week. December 24, 2012
Horrific example of what happens when fashion designers tweek a classic item I recently purchased 6 of these shirts, I have owned dozens of LE button down oxford shirts over the years and they are a staple in my work wardrobe. I have noticed recently that the quality has started to slip. Well, its official, quality has fallen off the cliff plus some "fashion designer" has ruined the design of the shirt as well! The quality of the material is no where near what it once was...the hand is very nice but fabric is much thinner than it was. Several buttons were already coming off on two different shirts when I took the shirt out of the bag. Finally, LE has gone to a thinner less substantial button but it does have the LE name on the button! REALLY? LE put their name on the button of a dress shirt...how am I supposed to wear a shirt with a suit and look professional when the name of the company is emblazoned all over all of the buttons on the shirt! I remember a LE that let quality speak for itself and didn't need to resort to tacky name placement to sell their product! Finally, the design of the shirt...button downs I purchased just two years ago had a classic button down collar that was cut in a manner that gave sufficient collar to wear a tie with the shirt and have the collar cover a tie with an average width tail and the collar points would have a classic "roll" that is the norm with button down oxford shirts. Well no more! Apparently, the designers have decided that they need to take a classic of traditional American menswear and "update" it. The result is a shirt that one could only wear a skinny tie with unless you want to look sloppy and have the tail of your tie show under the collar in the back. Additionally, the points of the collar are now so short that there is no roll to the collar, plus the proportions of the collar to the rest of the shirt are completely out of wack resulting in a shirt that looks absurd when worn with a tie on the average size adult male! Really? It appears that once again LE is more concerned about chasing the latest fashion vice making solid traditional clothing that looks good on average adult males. It is truly sad that yet another great traditional menswear company has lost its soul, cut quality and function in favor of flash and perceived fashion. December 12, 2012
Best ever The pima oxford cloth long-sleeve shirt is the best dress shirt that I have purchased. The laundry does them up better than the typical oxford cloth shirt so that they look great all day. The pima is soft enough so that it does not rub my neck. I would recommend them to anyone. December 9, 2012
High Quality I wear these shirts both for church with a tie and with jeans as a casual piece. They're versitile and look good with everything. They're also great quality! November 11, 2012
Nice fit Great material and great fit. Very comfortable. October 16, 2012
Happy with these shirts Been wearing and enjoying these shirts for years. October 13, 2012
A suitable replacement for the original... Years back my father gave me a used shirt that was a tad too large for him. He died a few years ago, and I have worn that shirt thinking of him often until eventually the elbow tore. I went online with the item number and found this replacement. Other than being decades newer and thus a bit more crisp, this is the same great fit and similar iron-free fabric that I loved in the original. I bought one for my son. October 13, 2012
The shirt has an excellent overall fit! The fit is excellent and the cut allows for easy movement while the shirt looks tailored and neat for school, dress, or work. October 13, 2012
