Description

Workbench tough.

  • Soft, durable all-cotton fabric
  • Triple-needle stitching
  • Buttondown collar
  • Adjustable cuffs
  • Shirttail hem

With a look like denim, it’s no wonder chambray’s so popular. But there’s one big difference between the two fabrics: chambray isn’t a twill so it’s naturally lighter — and perfect for all seasons. Lighter doesn’t mean flimsy, however: it spent decades as the fabric for work-duty shirts in the U.S. Navy, where toughness isn’t optional. Ours has strong triple-needle stitching at the shoulder, arm and side seams. Long sleeve. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Men's Long Sleeve Pattern Chambray Shirt 4.5 5 13 13
Nice 'Work' Shirt Sturdy, well made. Looks like a work shirt, but a bit dressier with the button down collar. Very nice fabric. May 28, 2013
Long, tall and looking good But enough about me. There's no sham in this chambray. The shirt looks good, fits right and does all the other things that one expects from a shirt, like just sit there on your shoulders and occasionally get tucked in your pants. I'll give it a thumbs up. May 28, 2013
Great shirt It's excellent value for money, hard to beat. Fit is just right, cloth of very good quality, with tailoring and sawing to match. I'm very happy with the purchase. The one improvement I'd suggest is making removal of the labels attached to the collar area easier. They stitched so well and yet scratchy that I always remove them all with lots of effort. Gets It All Right Fits well, with a wonderful weight and slightly nubby texture. A great Spring & Fall wardrobe addition. Highly recommended. April 13, 2013
Runs big Decent quality chambray for the price. I was hoping for a more open weave, but the pattern was so nice that I kept it. As with most Lands' End shirts, the tailor had to nip 3-4" off the waist. December 28, 2012
Excellent fit and good quality The Tall shirt's sleeve length is perfect for my 34" arms and the body is just right, not too big, not too small on my 6'4" average build torso. This and another chambray shirt replace a solid color version that I have worn out at the cuffs and collar but feels great when I wear it for working in the yard. November 25, 2012
These shirts are well made, look good, and have more room than the "Canvas" line. I purchased the " cornsilk" color in a medium and it fits well and looks good. I am 5' 3" , 155 lbs, 32" waist, 17" neck and size 40s jacket. Sleeves are long but 2 buttons on cuff helps with that. I had the buttons on the button down collar moved down and outward to give my chin more room (short neck). I had previously purchased chambrays in a blue stripe and a green stripe and a light indigo solid that I really like and are of the same cut. I have tried the Lands End Canvas shirts and they are too tight in the middle and the shoulders. I appreciate the value of these well made shirts. I like the triple stitching, back button on collar, the pattern matching, sleeve placket with button, 2 button cuffs, and button on pocket. I wear these shirts almost everywhere. Only thing I would change- add a pencil slot. October 13, 2012
Nice enough but more costly than in years past The center back collar button is a nice touch, keeps the collar from wrapping up but overall, this is a rather expensive cotton shirt. September 30, 2012
Comfortable but a bit sloppy-looking I had no idea what 'chambray' was until I bought this shirt. It certainly is comfortable and looks like it will wear well, but I plan to wear it only on weekends around the house and on fishing/hiking trips. It comes out of the dryer looking puckered, and I certainly don't plan to do any ironing. Also, it's a bit warm for summer wear (in my opinion), but should be great in the fall. August 19, 2012
Colors are sedately sparkling ! Very masculine and fits him to a T.. My husband is hard to please when it comes to patterns and too loud colors. He likes it and wears it. He wears it when we go car cruising with our club. August 4, 2012
