It does balloon up in the water
I typically wear a medium, so I bought a medium: if you're somewhat in shape, it fits a little big. And it balloon right up in the water.
So next time I would likely go one size down.

Order smaller than you think
We love the color, weight and shape of this shirt. My husband wanted it to go under his wetsuit when he surfs. We got a Large but had to return it and get a Medium. It was too large and bunched up under his wetsuit. We think it will hold up well and give him many years of wear.

Great rash guard
I've worn LE rashguards for the last five years and I love them. Their durability is excellent--I've used them for body surfing, kayaking, hiking (to waterfalls and swim holes), rafting, snorkeling and swimming in oceans, lakes, rivers and pools. The are outstanding at blocking the sun (I'm sun-sensitive). They launder well and are very comfortable. Great product.

Just What I Was Looking For!
I purchased these for myself as I am tall (6'3"). I needed to replace my old rash guards and was having a hard time finding them locally. I came across these doing an online search. After contacting Lands' End Customer Service to get size info (and the rep was great, too), I purchased four in size medium. These are great! The fit is very comfortable and you really can't tell that I am wearing a man's rash guard. Looking forward to some of the other colors becoming available again as I want to have one of each color.

Strange cut
The material was good. Thick and slightly stretchy.
However, I had to return it because the cut in the shoulder / arm hole was strange. It's supposed to be a swim shirt / rashguard but if you lift your arms above your shoulder like you're swimming, the shirt bunches up at the shoulder and lifts up. I didn't go into the water with the shirt but I could tell that the fit was not suited for a full range of motion. Nothing got caught or anything like that but the overall fit was strange. I ended up buying a Speedo loose fit rashguard that did fit correctly when moving your arms.

These shirts are great for my fair complected husband
I bought two of these shirts for my husband after he had some skin cancer removed from his shoulder. He has enjoyed them during our time at the pool and the lake this summer. We first bought it in white but there was some discoloration around the neck after several wears from the sunscreen. Next we ordered navy blue and it has been great.

Very happy with this item
We took this shirt on a trip to the Galapagos Islands, and my husband wore it constantly. In the water and out. It fit him well, was comfortable, and kept the sun off him, washed out nicely, and packed well. I would definitely recommend this.

Color, feel and fit are great! What more can one say? I bought this for my husband and actually, he has 2 now. Performance as expected.

This rash guard is very well made
This is the 5th shirt I ordered. Suffering from actinic kerotosis I use them daily while I am on beach vacation. Perfect protection in and out of water. It fits perfectly to the size.
