Description

Refined fabric.

  • Three-season twill brushed exclusively for softness
  • Buttondown collar
  • Mitered pocket and cuffs
  • Traditional Fit: the classic American cut. Compare fit options

Highlander is a lightweight, brushed twill that’s tightly woven — it has a higher thread count than some of our dress shirts. All that creates a durable fabric that’s supple and soft — warm without flannel’s fuzz and light enough on its own when the pumpkin’s frostfree. Add some of our most handsome patterns, and you have a versatile shirt you’ll be wearing now through next May. With a buttondown collar, mitered adjustable cuffs and a mitered chest pocket. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Good comfortable fit but..... Good comfortable fit but... This shirt is very comfortable but it is less "substantial" than I have come to expect. I wear it lounging around on the weekend but I wouldn't ear it if I needed to look smart. The collar is too soft to keep its shape. May 28, 2013
Good Looking but Easily Wrinkled This shirt was available to me at a very attractive Close-out price, so I took a chance. It was worth the close-out price, but I would be disappointed at retail. While the shirt fits with the classic Lands' End fit and is very soft, the fabric is extremely wrinkle-prone. I am going to have to choose between sending a casual shirt out to laundry, actually ironing a shirt, or just letting it look a little frumpy. I believe Option 3 will win out, and I will let this be a weekend shirt appropriate to old jeans and a trip to Home Depot. For what it is, and at the price, it's a decent value. May 28, 2013
great casual shirt I love the fabric and sizing. Perfect for wearing tucked or untucked. May 8, 2013
Wonderful Shirt! I love the light weight and the feel of the fabric. I had no size issues - it was sized exactly how I expected for a Land's End shirt. Give me more choices of patterns and colors, and I'll buy several more! December 4, 2012
Very light-weight 3-season shirt This light-weight shirt looks similar to common classic patterned all cotton twill or flannel items -- but it's not. It's more a Madras-weight, summery cotton. Still handsome, well-made, of high-quality, it's unusual in looking like something it's not: winter clothing. Usual fit (slightly long arms). November 25, 2012
Nice shirt that seems slightly oversized. The fabric of these shirts is excellent; very soft and tight without being as thick as your usual flannel shirt. As such, it's a perfect addition to a fall wardrobe - slightly warm, but not stuffy, and can easily be layered with sweaters and jackets. The color is great as well; subdued earth tones with a slight brown element throughout, even in the white areas. It's not to the point that it makes the shirt look dirty, just slightly worn. The tattersall is very versatile as well; it can easily be matched with reds, blues, and browns, and with a little creativity can be a perfect complement to yellows and greens as well. The material's texture and softness will dress down sports coats of a more formal cut, while the colors and patterns are able to add some class to sweaters, denim, and chinos by not being too loud. The only point of concern with this shirt is that it is a bit baggier in the body than most of Land's End other shirts. The neck and sleeves seem standard, but the chest and waist are very roomy. I'm on the lower end of a medium size in most brands, and I exchanged this shirt for a small. The collar is too small for me in that size, but this isn't a shirt I intend to wear with a tie anyway, so that's not a problem. November 17, 2012
Soft & Warm Very soft & will be warm for cool days. Fits just a bit smaller through the chest & belly than other LE products in same sizes. Quality is equivilant to other Shirts I've purchased in this style. November 11, 2012
Nice fitting shirt! My Highlander shirt is perfect for when I want to wear it. However, it is lightweight, so it will not keep you warm it cold weather. November 11, 2012
Poor quality cloth The colours are very nice but the cloth is very light and poor quality. It creases quickly, not at all suitable for a fall or winter shirt. October 29, 2012
enormous The material was very soft and comfortable, but the shirt was huge. I doubt it would have shrank enough to fit, so I returned it. I'm afraid Lands' End is cutting their clothes to fit the fattening demographic. If you keep trim it's hard to get things that fit. October 28, 2012
