Description

Could be our softest cord shirt yet.

  • Soft 21-wale corduroy
  • Classic buttondown collar
  • Adjustable cuffs
  • Roomy back box pleat with locker loop
  • Traditional Fit: the classic American cut, Compare fit options

When weather turns cold, turn to corduroy. It's a fantastic layer fall through spring — the wales create a naturally insulating buffer. And ours is silky-feeling, finewale cord — even finer than last year, for increased suppleness. Buttondown collar, shoulder pleats, adjustable cuffs. 100% cotton. Machine wash.

red is nicer than pictured... this shirt is nice, comfortably lightweight, and looked great on my husband Christmas day!(and a thinner wale does not equate cheap quality, this is a top notch shirt) December 31, 2012
A good shirt, not too bulky I agree with the second reviewer who noted this was what was advertised. It is a thinnish cordurory shirt, very soft, and is perfect for layering or for when you don't want a big bulky shirt. It was probably overpriced at the orginal price but is certainly worth the sale price if you want a winter shirt that doesn't feel like a coat. It's even slightly dressier looking than the typical corduroy shirt with big pocket flaps and a thick feel. They seem to be cut on the big side so no need to size up. October 22, 2012
I like this shirt I find this shirt to be exactly as represented ... a silky-feeling finewale cord. It is not "beefy" like some of my other LE cord shirts, but that's okay; I don't always want that extra bulk. It will work nicely for cool casual days at the office, or as a second layer in an overly air conditioned theater. I'll pull out the beefier shirts that I've had for twenty years when I'm doing fall yard work. The shirt is nicely tailored and well constructed. It has a box pleat rather than shoulder pleats, but that's fine too. I haven't laundered it yet, and will update this if that changes my opinion, but I recommend this shirt, and will buy another while they're on sale. July 21, 2012
Low quality, thinly made, not a good value for the $ I'm very disappointed in Lands' End over these shirts. This is probably one of the first items I've EVER purchased at Lands' End and been unhappy with the quality. These shirts are very thin and flimsy; not beefy at all. I'd expect this type of merchandise from very low-end retailers, not someplace with the reputation of Lands' End. Definitely not worth the pre-sale or sale price. I'm returning both of them and purchasing elsewhere. January 25, 2012
