Good product Good quarlity. Light. The sole is slippy in rainy days. Bought one pair in each color March 18, 2013
Faux laces strike again One would think that Lands' End, after many years of cutting corners on boat shoe laces by snipping them in half and gluing the ends down under the vamps, would start to get it right on a better-made (and more expensive) model shoe with similar lacing, like this camp moc, but no. Although one can clearly see it from the pictures here by how they're laced, I saw it first hand while trying on a pair in-store. Sadly, Lands' End still hasn't realized that shoes with wraparound 360° lacing are providing an actual function, the function for which boat shoes were designed -- not to slip off the heel, which they cripple when cutting the laces and relegating the feature to "faux" or "for show" alone. For a nicely welted model like this, you would think they would get it right. January 6, 2013
looks nice. lacked sense of traction and was narrow the sole needed a bit more traction. it proved to be suspect on wet pavement. the shoe itself was cut narrow for a "topsider". December 23, 2012
This shoe works for me Seems to be a little narrow but not tight (I was wearing a heavier sock), as it breaks in the leather should stretch and mold to my foot. The color is a little dark than on the computer display, but I will treat the leather anyway which while darken the leather. Looks good on with jeans and cords. Fits well, the six lace holes firmly prevent the shoe from slipping and flopping as you walk. It looks like it is very well made, the inside of the shoe is more finished, the sole is great for walking and will work well in wet weather as opposed to others I have looked at in retail stores. The only reason it doesn't get my highest rating is because I haven't worn it that much yet to check out the durability (I wish a 4.5 rating was available); somehow I don't think I will be disappointed. Great buy at the sale price. If you like this type of shoe...buy it you won't be disappointed. December 9, 2012
so comfortable! I am a tall gal wtih big feet (women's 12). I have lots of foot issues so I pretty much live in Birkentstock sandals in the warmer months but I needed a new pair of shoes for work now that it's getting colder. I wear lots of men's shoes (penny loafters, sneakers, etc) because of my foot size so I thought I'd give these a try. The reviews for this shoe were positive and now I'm adding mine! These shoes are extremely comfortable---I'm actually wearing them right now for the first time today and they're fabulous. I think they look super cute (can I say that?) lol! They look very well made---a high quality shoe and so lightweight. If these came a bigger range of colors I'd be temped to order several pairs. I have these in the expresso color and they look great. I'm very pleased with my purchase! November 21, 2012
A step up from a boat shoe Casual boat shoe look, with a cushier sole -- what's not to like? I initially ordered my regular size 9-1/2, but found it a bit cramped. I exchanged for a size 10, and couldn't be happier with the fit and comfort of this shoe! October 23, 2012
Very well-made, fits true to size, looks expensive. A very nice boat shoe. My only concern is that a small area of the lining is a little rough and I needed to use moleskin to make the lining more comfortable. October 13, 2012
Extremely comfortable and stylish Bought these for the upcoming cooler Fall weather to wear with jeans or chinos. They look great with both, although they're a bit on the clunky side when compared to my other boat shoes. I expected the extra bulk, however, due to the third eyelet and white crepe soles. That said, they're relatively lightweight. These shoes are very well made, and surprisingly the most comfortable shoes in my closet! I kid you not, these shoes are ridiculously comfortable, with or without socks. No blisters on the back of my foot from these guys. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a little more wear out of their Summer-time boat shoe look. September 17, 2012
Well made, looks good and fits good I have a wide foot but this shoe seems to fit fine without needing a wider size. Good for casual upwards as the liner may not be best for the water at the beach. It is a little higher than regular boat shoes and goes very well with jeans or slacks. August 27, 2012
Very good quality shoe. Happy I bought this type of shoe. Looks great with anything I wear. Comfortable and stylish. Bought the Expresso Shade and very pleased with it. June 16, 2012
