Absolutely a very nice shoe.
Love the style of this shoe. Needed to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller because the shoe was a little bigger than the size I normally wear. Very well made and I know I will wear these shoes for a very long time. Like them so much I am ordering the other two colors, Dark Tan and Brown.

Great Daily Shoe and Well Made
My first pair of shoes were a bit large overall, so I reordered a 1/2 size smaller. They fit just fine now and are very comfortable to wear all day. I am not sure why others have complained about very snug toe fit as I have noticed nothing of the kind. The shoes are very well made and look and feel just fine. The quality and construction would seemingly warrent a much higher price. The only thing I would point out is that the shoe described as "brown" in color is actually just as it looks in the picture and that would be cordovan. Aside from this color description, the shoes are terrific and I highly recommend them. I wear them every few days in my business setting and it looks like they will last for many years with proper care.

Great Looking Shoe
I bought a pair and was so impressed, that I bought a second pair in black. A warning however, the brown are more of a mahogany color. I am very particular with shoes, and will not wear them if they are cheap looking and poorly made. These actually look better than in the photos.

Heartily recommended...leather handmade dress shoes from another time
A pleasant surprise to find this shoe on sale at the Land's End Shop in my local Sears. These shoes are crafted with supple leather inside and out, which flexes easily, "breathes" and molds to one's foot. For me, it was comfortable from the first wearing. The "vamp" accommodates many kinds of arch shapes. In brief, this shoe compares favorably to most premium shoes at any Outlet or Shoe Warehouse.
Bonuses: 1.) Women notice finely crafted shoes on men and this shoe fits in casual or dress-up worlds; 2.) The British Tan is a classic statement with a dark suit; very "GQ"; 3.) I can actually take this shoe to a cobbler for new heels and polishing. If you can afford a treat for yourself gentlemen, this shoe is reminiscent of another time and price point. A more than fair value, which is totally Land's End.

well-made, attractive and comfortable
I love the soft but supportive inner sole and the soft leather lining

Poor overall value!
Styling and appearance was what attracted me to this shoe, however, upon receipt shoe was un supportive and of low-mid quality. Size was too big and fit was poor. Sorry, must return these shoes and matching belt.

Looks like this shoe has been the victim of "value engineering".
The leather they removed from the product caused it to pinch in both width and in the toes. In fact the toe box was so low there was painful pressure on the tops and bottoms of my toes. I have never experienced this kind of poor fit before. If you order a pair be sure to try at least 2 sizes larger than you ordinarily wear.
