Fit & Size Information

Very good value Very satisfied. I wear an 8 1/2 ordered a size 9 and the fit is perfect. Did place a heel cushion in the shoe for extra comfort. The leather seems durable and the soles are meant for dancing. Shoes polishes up well so far no complaints. November 12, 2012
Odd fit. Not what I hoped for. When I opened the box, these boots looked great. Couldn't wait to wear them. Needless to say when I slipped them on, I was very disappointed with how they fit. They were very narrow in the front, yet the back by the heel was loose, very odd. The leather was very stiff, to the point where I could tell it would take a while to wear them in. The sole is leather, not rubber, which I was disappointed about. I had owned a pair of LE chelsea boots that were suede and had a rubber sole. They were the most comfortable boots I ever owned. Wore them to their grave. I thought these would be a good replacement, but I was wrong. As nice as they appear, I found them to be simply unwearable. I'm returning them. I always love what I get from Lands End, but this was a disappointment. October 25, 2012
A good dressy boot This boot is good dressy Chelsea boot. It does run narrow throughout but the quality is very good. January 7, 2012
Good boots esp on sale Good (not great) leather standard workmanship Leather sole better than most competitors Ordered half size larger and still slightly snug esp in width Overall very nice look November 27, 2011
Wide Ankle I found the ankle of this boot to be too wide for my ankles and calves. I am a slim person, so these boots may be a better fit for beefier individuals. Other than that, I have no complaints. They're a decent pair of dress boots as far as quality goes November 26, 2011
Good value for the money. Classic styling (great for office dress casual or with jeans) and good value for the money. Definitely runs a 1/2 size small though. "Dress shoe" sole will likley last longer then a "rubber" sole, but does not provide as much traction. November 4, 2011
Good boot at this price I got this boot at the recommendation of PTO. Overall, I am quite happy with it. I gave these a polish and they look phenomenal. The styling is good and they feel good to walk in. I can definitely use this boot for both more casual and more semi-formal occasions (I wear em both out at night, and to work sometimes), and the warmth works well in the northeastern fall weather. The leather isn't amazing quality, like in an Alden or something, but for the price, it's well worth the value and still full grain. It runs a little narrow in my opinion, so keep that in mind. I had to return a 10.5 for a 11 because my toes were getting squashed. As always, Lands' End customer service and return policy were top notch. November 2, 2011
Too narrow to get on The boot is indeed very handsome if you can get it on your foot! The leather is hard and the elastic is, well, not very elastic. The real problem, however, is that the tabs at the back that could help get them on are too small to get a finger in them so they are virtually useless. It's a real pity, because they're quite stylish and well-priced. October 30, 2011
Functions as designed While I would not give this boot a rave review, it is well-constructed and relatively comfortable. For a basic business boot to be worn with Land's End's basic business suits it meets the requirements. For a truly fine boot—at a significantly higher cost—try a pair of R.M. Williams from Australia. I own a pair and highly recommend them for comfort, construction, and class. October 30, 2011
Nice ankle boot Very pleased with the ankle boot. Was exactly what I was looking for stylewise. Caution, the rubber on the heals wears down very quickly. October 25, 2011
