Women's flannel-lined primaloft robe?
My husband got me the flannel-lined primaloft version of this robe, made for women, as a Christmas gift, and it is one of the best gifts ever. It's basically a duvet with arms. It's not made to do housework in, but it's perfect for getting warmed up in the morning before the heat kicks in, or for cozying up on the couch at night after turning down the heat. I always smile when I put it on. Can't find that robe online for whatever reason, so I'm writing the review here. Oh, and the collar on the women's is also lined in flannel, which feels better against my skin than nylon, or polyester/nylon of the shell on the women's.

Warmest robe, warmer than a coat!
It is very puffy, to be expected due to the down. Not a robe for working in, just for relaxing.

Wow what a robe.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas as he lives in his robe. He loves it,
it is like wearing a down blanket. Very heavy and warm. The inside is lined with
flannel so it feels good against the skin. He usually wears an XL but I went one size up just
to make sure it would be comfy and I am glad I did it fits perfect.
I have several down blankets from Land's End and as always the quality is top notch.
Thank you for another great
product : )

warm & comfy
I got one of these robes for myself last year, as I am always cold. My boyfriend liked mine so much I got him one for Christmas, and he couldn't wait for Christmas, he wore it the first day it came & he likes his as much as I like mine. We are both warm and comfy on cold mornings.

nice robe but ...
If you wear anything under it, the flannel lining sticks to other fabric, But other then that it is fine, very warm and comfortable. And very well made. I just wish the sleeves were lined with nylon.

A great robe but be careful
This robe is wonderfully warm and has a great feel instantly when you put it on. The collar wraps around your neck to stop drafts when needed. And it seems almost immune to picking up dog hair which is an issue in our household. But there are two things to watch out for: first, by Landsend standards I am clearly a Medium (5'11", 174#, 15-33 shirt size) so that's the robe size I ordered. Fits perfectly _except_ there is definitely a "gapping" problem when I sit. I believe it is due to the slight stiffness of the quilted construction and the fact that I am somewhat long-waisted. I exchanged for a Large which has cleared up the gapping problem at the cost of maybe too much sleeve. The second thing to watch is that the material is _not_ flame-resistant (I specifically asked). With bulky sleeves, if you are likely to be wearing it near a gas stove or candles I would be very cautious.

No longer cold!
This is IT for a warm robe. Lightweight but full, this is the robe for keeping house temperatures on the lower side for energy savings! You CAN NOT be cold in this robe. Very roomy. I bought the navy for my 92 year old father for when he visits our house which we do not keep at 70 degrees because it is simply too hot for everyone else.Great for snuggling up on the couch at night. We expect to save a lot on oil this year!
For warmth, you will not be disappointed!

warm cozy sacrifice
warm but bulky, wimpy belt, too thick all over, heavy. it can feel.....and sound, like your wearing a winter coat.
but if you have a cold mancave and cheap with the thermostat, and have a cold leather couch....then your like me. in these situations its great though it is noisy. looking for excuse to wash it thinking it may thin it out.maybe quiet the nylon.very comfortable cut when lying down on couch in the fetal position.
on sale it is a real value, the feel may improve w age.

Cozy
This down robe is cozy and comfortable. I could barely get it off to sew an inside tie which you need as the nylon is slippery and the robe falls open without an inside tie. Cheap detail. I am 5'8" woman and weigh 110 lbs and am wearing a size mens M. If I had bought this for my husband it would have come to above his knees. I don't see how a man could fit in this. Oh: it is a titch noisy too and I need to wear a bib when eating because it puffs up when I am seated. But for warmth and comfort, it's great. When I come home from late night last call with our dogs, I love getting into my downy robe.

amazing gift idea
last year Land's End had this in women's sizes. I bought this in ivory for a relative who is always cold. She absolutly loved it and wears it all the time. It would be nice if they brought it back in women's sizes and have different colors. Fantastic housecoat for our extremely cold winters.
