These boots are great for any occasion
I read some of these negative reviews and had to ask; What did they think they were buying? These boots are a little higher then we are use to in the US they seem closer to the British Cut Chukkas. This is my second pair and they replace a pair that I wore out from use The older boots kept their color and support long after other shoes have stopped. I'd recommend and even buy a pair as a gift.

not as substantial as I thought
Judging by the picture, I thought this boot was more made like a workboot, but the reality is it is constructed more like a Converse Chuck Taylor shoe. Very flexible, no true support and by no means usable in cold weather without heavy socks.
So good for fall days, cant wear in the winter or early spring.

scratches all over
I saw these in the store and wanted to buy for my husband but the only pair left in his size was very scratched. I ordered online and when I received the shoe it was the same issue. The scuffing/scratching all over the shoes made the shoes look old and low quality. Had to return because of this.

Very comfortable chukka boot with a great fit and color.
These boots are perfect for me to wear all day-every day. Very good quality and they feel so comfortable for walking as I am on my feet all day at work. I ordered a second pair to have for future use because I like them so much.

Overpriced
The material sems shoddy and there isn't much substance to the shoe / boot.. I don't feel as if it supporting my feet...which clever marketing people would say is a testament to how light and comfortable it is. The boot isn't worth the price.

Nice looking but lacking support
Ended up returning these because they were not as comfortable as some comparable Timerlands I found. They look very nice and I was excited by them but couldn't deal with the very thin flat soles.

Top knotch looks but poor wearability.
This is a stylish, indoors, lounging shoe. It is not an outdoor, urban walking shoe suitable for lengthy wear. I can live without an arch support, but there is little to no sole cushioning. After a few hours on hard surfaces or walking across uneven terrain, one feels every pebble on the ground. I've tried a number of insoles, however one can only go so thick before the shoe becomes too snug to be comfortable.
Be sure of the function you want these for before you buy.

Not much support returned it.
Didn't fit well, quality was just OK. It was not what I expected. Never wore it because I sent it back.

A bit too high - very uncomfortable.
Bought this pair for my husband, as he had a similar pair years back which he found
very comfortable. However, on this pair, he thinks that the shoe uppers is a bit too high
and a bit tight on the ankles. The padded tongue and the upper rims, which are not as
soft as claimed. are stiff and rubs against your ankle as you walk. In his opinion, if the
boots were just about half an inch shorter (4 eyelets instead of five) they would have
made a perfect and very comfortable fit.

Nice leather bad support
This boot was made with nice leather; however, there was not enough foot or ankle
support. It is not a boot that one would be able to wear for any length of time.
